good thing i own 307 games on steam, right? terraria 1.3 expert has been ridiculous fun this week. before that i was playing steam sale rpg's non-stop. before that i was playing witcher 3. if by chance i finish terraria 1.3 i still have a ton of steam sale games i haven't touched/finished...

i may be wrong, but didn't he disable the part of the zombie awareness mod where they smell you. and in doing so you get a lot less enemies than before when they could track you from far away.

here's some news... the witcher 3 has 4 difficulty levels... "blood and broken bones" is only the 3rd difficulty! the highest difficulty is called "death march". so i am expecting a minecraft mod author to come up with a modpack called death march that is more difficult than blood and bones...

i must disagree with gta5 being the best single player world. skyrim still holds that title quite easily. if gta 5 had underground dungeons and caves and the ability to mod such things into it, only then would it be a candidate. and really, i wish rockstar would tone down the pedestrian...

gta 5 on pc is not a masterpiece. its multiplayer is a load screen hell nightmare. the heists are extremely bugged and poorly implemented. can't even skip heist cut scenes. the console transfers got a massive head start in terms of uneven playing field. the year-old console dlc given to pc on...

i'm not sure i played the final version of bnb 1 but all my time playing it i had to disable a bunch of bop biomes. that always included an "extra" ocean biome which was part of bop configs beyond the vanilla.

if you play bnb hardcore, then there's no reason not to play 1.6 for the next week until 1.7 comes along. a week is enough time to die and start a new world 100 times over.

grammar is serious internets. i don't care for grammar so much on the internets. but spelling... makes my head explode. the one that drives me nuts the most is the 100 people i know on steam that misspell the word your (you're) ...and they use it several times a day.

any chance we'll see bnb 1 on the curse voice launcher any time soon? i see a lot of the other old ftb packs on there...

you've never stayed awake 24 hours before? i'm more like Eyamaz when it comes to sleeping (minus him having a kid which is likely the bigger complication in the formula). i'm pretty sure i only ever sleep about 5 times a week. and i eat and sleep whenever. not to conform to the standard...

i don't suppose he'll be playing hardcore...

speaking of survival elements... i'd love to see someone try to port over all the stuff from "Don't Starve: Reign of Giants" much like several modders tried to port over Terraria into minecraft.

that depends on how many biomes you had set to true. i think there were over 80 possible. i recall having to disable 90% of the biomes in the config because many biomes were redundant (more forests! yay!) or uninhabitable (food? wood? nope?) .. your chances of coming across a vanilla biome or...

curious to see if "plenty of horrible biomes" will be present. in BnB 1, that could technically cause you to rage in less than 10 minutes because you had a 95% chance of getting a useless spawn point with none of the critical resources in sight. you know, food...
