This sounds a lot like my experience with overheating computers. If its a desktop, try clearing out all of the dust and making sure the fans are all still working, then make sure the computer is somewhere with plenty of room around it for airflow, and see if the problem continues.

Are both of the worlds named the same thing? At least in single player, journey map will load a map based on what the world is called. So, if you have two worlds that were both named "Earth", Journey Map will open the same map file for both.

The watering can will give off particles when watering if it has water (and if you have particles turned on in your options). I think the watering can only works when you're watering with it.
