Focal Manipulator (Thaumcraft)

Hey Everyone,
I recently started playing FTB infinity evolved and decided to start with thaumcraft. For a few days now I have been trying to unlock the focal manipulator on the research tree and I can't seem to unlock it and I've looked pretty much everywhere on the internet and haven't been able to find anything helpful on how you do it. Does anyone know what I need to do to unlock this? If so it would be a great help and I would be much obliged.

From what I remember, it should be in the clump of researches branching off of the node stabilizer, along with the other stuff that uses centi-vis. Have you done everything in that section and it still isn't appearing?
