    Ok, so i'm assuming fluiduct just can't keep up here so...2 drains spaced a block apart, fluiduct out to basin, casting table, etc. SFM item cable in-between them pulling molten metals to process or store elsewhere. Even ir u used 9 basins to process, you could loop from one end to the other...

    Point taken. I phrased my post poorly. Those are the only "needed" reasons to go. Though now that I think about it, heart canisters are another item for that list (can't craft them all). To complete the quest book, you only need smeltery and high oven. If the quests mean little to you...

    The only reasons for exploring cities is for smeltery and high oven parts (to build your first of each, and then big reactor parts of which I think you can craft everything except the controller.

    Sweet, this is my first build with SFM, so there's a LOT I still have to learn. Now I have more tweaks to play and experiment with.
