Whats the bug? On death losing Adventurer Amulet Baubles, Archmagus mana levels, and I have not tried repeating this last one. But I died accidentally over sacrificing to my Blood Altar and it made my Pyroclast Amulet(Botania) disappear.
Can it be repeated? Yes
Known Fix: I do not know a fix. I think the mana levels are a bug in Archmagus. Which means its prolly outta your guys hands.

Mana levels seem to be an Archmagus feature. I did warn you in a quest! As for the the Baubles, that's a Blood Magic feature to dissuade players from simply setting their spawn by the altar, and repeatedly killing themselves for infinite blood. Their *would* be a quest to explain that, (or at least one planned!) but unfortunately we can't detect player deaths without first enabling Hardcore mode.

Oddly, I saw the video first. Thanks random Twitter and YouTube search! It may be conflicting key bindings- I seem to remember hitting a similar problem myself. I'll look into this in more detail in the morning.

Oh yeah. YouTube links for troubleshooting purposes should be fine, so long as the video is informative and only about the issue you report.

Whats the bug? It crashes when I hit ctrl to sprint.
Can it be repeated? Yes.
Known Fix: unknown at this time. I think it might be a conflicting key but have not had time to look.
Edit: It was not conflicting keys. I have no idea what causes it.

Edit: This is a known issue and seems to be resolved in an update. So, when the modpack updates it should fix the issue. I wish I would have known before I went to the trouble of making the darn thing

The Hero Medallion will not absorb my xp. I currently have 39 levels, and I have right-clicked, shift+right-clicked, jump+shift+right-click, and jump+spinning in counter-clockwise circles+right clicking and nothing has caused it to absorb my xp. I cannot seem to make the thing work.

man i cant not load up this mod pack to save my life. before it would start up every time. now, when i push the launch button the launcher crashes with no crash report. ive tried deleting the pack folder and downloading it again....twice to make sure, and i still get the same thing. ive also made sure other packs work and that my java is updated. still nothing. i understand that this is in alpha and i would have problems but sometimes i think that no one is working on or updating this pack. it has been in alpha for sometime and no one has talked or posted anything on it.....not that is recent. im not sure what to do anymore. im not computer savy so i have not fix for this if someone else is having the same problem. i dont think its on my end because i can play other packs in the FTB launch just fine. i think im going to just wait until the pack becomes updated

Sounds like your having user-side issues. Maybe try deleting FTB Launcher and doing a fresh install. A horde of other people and I have zero problems launching it. But do not rant at the team....they work really hard to give you free stuff. Everyone should be grateful for free stuff.

Your post does not really help determine what is going on. As maffeo404 said try reinstalling the FTB launcher. This could fix it especially if you have not reinstall sense late October as there was a problem keeping older version from updating. If that does not work see if other 1.7 packs work. I had a problem on my laptop that caused any modpack from ftb and ATLauncher to crash on start up. It had a simple fix of just adding a line to the java parameters.

im not ranting i just dont understand the process on pack updates and things like that. also most people i have talked to regarding the pack, not saying people that go to forums but friends and my local community, they dont seem impressed or have seen anything exciting in the pack. and they are not ranting either. we just agree that its just a bit too early to understand the pack and to see its full potential. i will take ur addvice and reinstal the launcher and see if that fixes the problem. i did have fun with the pack. i feel that i got pretty far into it. end game botania and thaumcraft then was starting a new build project, and i have full understanding that this pack is very much in its infancy and i cant wait to see what is instore.

I have been playing this as my main modpack and I do not think this modpack is going to be for everyone. People who want a crazy super ALL THE MAGIC! modpack are not going to like it. Because this is not a super crazy all the magic modpack. This modpack is like a vision of what vanilla could become if it took a magical turn. But enough subverting the bug report page. lol

Are you using 1.04 version? Or the current recommended? Because 1.04 does not have this issue.
Edit:There is a quest that calls for a vanilla brewing stand and that will be fixed in the next update.

Whats the bug?
I crash rather often - and randomly - with a NVIDIA error. "The NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and is unable to continue. ..."
Weird is, that I put the "Advanced OpenGL" option in the video-setting "Off". As well as this error only happens to me in the Mage Quest modpack (direwolf20 pack and a few third party modpacks never had this problem. If that is important)

Can it be repeated?
Happens Randomly. Sometimes it works for more than an hour without the error, sometimes it crashes after 5~10 minutes. Not doing anything special when this error happens (sometimes fighting, sometimes mining, sometimes just when walking around)

Not sure if that is a bug which actually is right to post here (since only happens in Magequest for me, I thought I better do post it. Don't know if there is a mod that forces openGL to use or something like that)
