If you wanted aesthetics, you could just make a 1 thick tank wall and put some drums behind it. Since lava tanks are opaque, all you would see is a seemingly solid tank of lava, but really the drums are holding most of the lava.Aesthetics.

Agreed but I'm stubborn and hard up for iron right now. Where as lava is free and sand is plentiful. The Lava Sphere Will LIVE!To each his own. That's a good compromise, though.
I'm always running out of sand and glass earlygame, not iron =(Agreed but I'm stubborn and hard up for iron right now. Where as lava is free and sand is plentiful. The Lava Sphere Will LIVE!
I'll post a pic when I'm done.
And I always need the materials for another AA, until suddenly I realize I'm always out of redstone.I'm always running out of sand and glass earlygame, not iron =(

I didn't know bloodwood trees produce redstone. Excuse me, I have some saplings to plant.Automated Bloodwood trees and tons of igneous extruders, one of which feeds into a pulverizer. And I am Stocked. Working on autosifting right now, actually.
Your harvester doesn't have to be right next to the trunk. How do you automate your bloodwoods? I tried but the thing grew and deleted my harvester with the 2x2 trunk
The sapling is always in the north western corner of the tree it grows, so plan your design accordinglyHow do you automate your bloodwoods? I tried but the thing grew and deleted my harvester with the 2x2 trunk

This happens when you put grass in a jungle biome. Put other animals there, and ocelots will spawn more rarely. So I have a weird problem. I decorated my platform with grass and trees so I could have a forest type look, and it looks nice and all. But I'm infested with ocelots! I've placed some golems with butcher cores to get rid of some of them, but it's not entirely too effective. Any thoughts?
Use forge multiblock and create grass half slabs perhaps?urf. Sounds like I may just have to figure something else out then. I'm trying to keep the entity count down since I'm on a lower end computer.
What is the temperature in the oven?Question:
I'm having a lot of trouble with producing steel, Sometimes it seems like it vanishes before turning into steel, sometimes it just stays as iron, and other times I get a 1:1 ratio of iron to steel...
I'm not sure what's happening, could anybody shed some light on the situation? (in all cases there has been a good supply of gunpowder, sand and redstone in their respective slots within the high oven)
EDIT: watching it cook with this batch, I can see it appearing in the tank, and then draining out somewhere, but the fluiducts are disconnected at the moment
If you set your harvester a block away, then it'll work. How do you automate your bloodwoods? I tried but the thing grew and deleted my harvester with the 2x2 trunk
