Awesome list! Maybe forcefields for defense? Does taint spread through forcefields? Can portable holes go through it? If it safe from those, a nuclear powered forcefield might make an extremely powerful base defense for limited amounts of time. I'm wondering if moveable contraptions via Frames...

What about Taint? Could that be the Magic equivalent of a nuke? Would Tech have any defense against it if they started spreading it on purpose?

When I used the Tekkit launcher, i also had massive amounts of lag that I fixed by integrating it with .minecraft. Same problem and solution with FTB. I'm posting here because the latest version of Forge seems to have broken this solution and I can't use the packs without getting an abysmal...

I used to be able to integrate the modpacks into my original .minecraft and that fixed the lag right away, but the latest mindcrack pack won't allow that... I get a Null error. Had this same problem with the Tekkit launcher.

Were getting an error saying that Computercraft and CC Turtle aren't updated. What exactly is the fix for that?

Again, because there are mods outside of the FTB pack we wish to play with that don't regularly update. And it would be little extra stress on the devs. And it would stop the yelling for updates. And It could be done within a day assuming contact with Elo and the gang.

Our reasoning is that, while the main pack for 1.4.6 may be released, we'd still like a pack for 1.4.5 so we don't lose compatibility with everything else that doesn't update regularly ;) I do agree with waiting until what Slowpoke says before committing to anything drastic.

Here's a suggestion: Politely ask Eloraam to release RP2 for 1.4.5, and the community could put together a pack just for 1.4.5, and ask for permission to upload it to the launcher. Only use mods the FTB team has permissions for, and try to get it added to the launcher as an officially supported...

Elo just Tweeted! Could we see a 1.4.5 release for the Ultimate pack? So we don't get any stranglers taking a week or so to update? That way we get the full experience that much quicker, plus most of the work has already been done for 1.4.5!
