I guess instead of cooking iron to make refined iron, now you use a hammer on normal iron to make iron plates. now that makes more sense and is less of an useless step (instead of smelting you use a hammer)

TL;DR: Coping gregtech stuff and adding it in easy mode to vanilla IC2.

Since when gregtech became a new gamemode that mods should follow... why not thaumcraft-like? with research? or MMMpowersuits-like? making useless pieces and adding stuff to make them work? or dartcraft? or tinkers construct? or every other mod in existance that isn't gregtech?

So that is true? can't have tinker's construct along with gregtech? Tinker's construct is my favorite mod from now on, even though a few seconds ago I didn't like it that much.
