I wasn't planning on bitching at all thanks for asking. I ask because my friend is going to start up a new server using 1.6 and I asked how long it has taken in the past to see if it was even worth my time to put anymore effort in our current server.

And I didn't ask for an exact date, I asked how long it had taken in the past, as well as if anyone had ANY information on this. Which people did. So, once again, your answer was wrong and did not need to be posted.

in 1.7, thats what they did with the 1.5 update, not do it and push it for 1.6

Normally you can base it on when the LPers who associate with the forgecraft server wrap up their seasons. Not so sure about that this time around.

I remember when FTB was labeled the "Other mod pack" killer... It has hardly been that...

No, I believe it is because you came into this thread to try and be funny and a smartass. My question was a legit question and clearly stated I did not expect an exact answer. I said I'd like to know if anyone had any clues, which people did and presented them, or if anyone had any idea how long it had taken in the past, which people did and said so. You, however, decided to be a child and make stupid comments that were not needed at all. I even asked not to post here unless you had information, and you ignored that and posted these silly remarks. Now, I'll ask you again; please do not post here again unless you have information that answers the original questions. This is not a flame thread, and does not need to be turned into one because you do not have the ability to read a complete thread.

Also she has been hanging out on Forgecraft (the community, not the server), so the reports of her being AWOL are greatly exaggerated.

Redpower has an extra issue that other mods don't have, though - it's coded in a way that makes it incompatible with an alternative Java VM branch called JRockit.

Just curious: why is this? Did she use VM-internal API's or something?

I unfortunately have no idea. I just know that Minecraft crashes hard when Redpower is installed and you try to launch on JRockit. It's been known for a while.

The question has been semi answered as we wont have a better timeline till mid next month. When it comes to then we can give updates on what is going on and such.
