What is/were the reason's people don't like xycraft?

I rather have white xychorium ore ONLY, make only white blocks, and then color them with dyes however you wish in the world.

It's also been said many times in other topics. Hopefully Sorayn will take notice and adjust his mod accordingly to bring the world gen more under control. If part of the mod requires a lot of the crystals (the decroative blocks), then instead of spamming world gen, introduce a new machine block that can fabricate these crystals from common vanilla materials.

Agreed. It's really annoying to find a vein next to a vein next to a vein of xychorium. I'd rather find a vein next to a vein next to a vein of iridium.... Xychorium is taking away from that experience.

I don't really like when a mods creates something unique (RC tanks) and another mod basically takes that idea and creates their own version that's a bazilion times cheaper.

Well, xycraft tanks are also a lot less efficient. They are just shape-versatile. It gives you many options, aside from the required-cube-base tanks.

I personally like the versatility of the tanks, they are one of the things I like.

I don't like (As has been discussed throughly) the world gen, and I venomently dislike the quartz.

The additional decorative block design is good but I find them a bit garish now.

Though they are "different", integrating those blocks into anything aesthetically is difficult. Not many themes can handle such a radical block. I use them sparsely, even then I find myself wondering if it actually looks any good.
