You should try chisel blocks. the chisel mod is really cool.

So the ominous woods is getting bigger? I know that witchery has a spell that will change a biome, and silverwoods from thaumcraft change a biome to magic forest.

What pack is it? I would be able to help give ideas if I knew what you have to work with.

FTB lite or Dirwolf20 (Look up Direwolf20 on youtube he teaches mods.) for easy packs. Harder packs try magic farm or crash landing... or blood and bones if you are best friends with death himself... :P

You might want to watch direwolf20's youtube videos. He is good at teaching the mods to new players. You will get a good idea of what you're in for.

Have you leveled up your tools? I play magic farm 2 a lot and the levels of tools can change what it can mine in that pack.

AE in vanilla? I don't even use it in modded it is not how I like to play it. TiCo on the other hand I would love to see more stuff like that... you know if TiCo had more things in it to make tools look however I wanted them to.

I play for building and then the toys after. So if I can get the really nice looking blocks and it is fast I guess I'd try. (I don't mind the new Ic2 but as long as I can have it crafting things in the background.)

I wouldn't play but that is because I'm Lazy and want to have all the things as fast as I can.

Try looking at a lot of time lapse videos those really get me going when I build.

What I was trying to say was that there are a lot of white list servers that you could try to play on since they are really nice most of the time.

Well I'll just be over here playing magic world 2 with my full ichor stuff having fun as the self named god of my world. :P I have changed a lot of stuff in that pack, but my one rule was to play with only the mods that started in the pack and not to add any. :P
