How do you get the different coloured trees? Probably a dumb question, but never seen any other tree but vanilla + thaumcraft ones.

They're from forestry, if multiple types of trees are near apiaries, they'll cross-breed, which will eventually result in the cherry trees above.

Here's a power plant I built for my friend's server. It produces 1800 Mj/t that anyone can tap into.

4 Fermenters managed by a local AE network

24 Stills

2 Turbines to power a matter fab right underneath the stills

12 36HP boilers, all liquid fueled. They're in a circular pattern so I can't get a shot of all of them. It's quite cramped in here.
Also, 200 Industrial Steam Engines.

Thanks for the info! The floor is made out of Xycraft engineering blocks.

That setup makes me drool.

I just have some oil to fuel as of now, but I've been trying to think up some setups for ages. I need 6-7 separate unique ones that are fully independent, and fit with the theme of my 6 planned bases. Exploitbase, farmbase, magicbase and Steampunkbase are easy, but flyingrainbowbase, gembase, and veganbase not so much.

the Bioreactors get fed with just four different kinds of seeds, and that's still more than enough to keep the boilers steaming.
Four ultimate advanced solar panels as jump-in for catastrophic emergency events(tm).
All in all aber 8500 EU/t.

Thank you. It's all legit. Took a while to get all the steel. I had 4 Blast Furnaces and 4 Coke Ovens. I got the coal for m a tier 5 Wither Skeleton farm, and the iron from an tier 5 Zombie Pigman farm (via Minium Stone).

Ohhh man, industrial blast furnaces would have saved you a lot of suffering. Needs double the coal and a constant 128 EU/t power supply, but it's far quicker than what Railcraft gives you for options.

Very careful thaumaturgy, no doubt. I built my house on top of a node by accident, so I just popped silverwood leaves and logs everywhere. Not the best management, but it works.

I love how everyone, especially qap, makes such a good use of Xycraft blocks; I, on the other hand, avoid them like the plague. I should probably break that habit eventually, now that some of them actually have uses.
