What about the elemental wands and tools mod? It adds new wands and blocks to make the game fun and did I metion epic armor? Or what about the carrot pickaxe mod? No explanition
Just a small question like that, okay maybe a couples of questions as I understand there will be like 4 modpack : tech, lite, magic and ultimate; My question is : what is the beta right now, just a beta or the representation of the ultimate mod pack? Or as I understand it's the mods that will be used for the feed the beast map?
I'm getting a little bit confused and I guess i'm not the only one, are we suggesting mods for all of those packs or the mod for the FTB map?
The current beta is somewhat between the pack for the maps and the ultimate one. Some mods might be dropped, others might be added.

Rather then have the ore's scattered in small clumps, this mod makes them into large veins that are spread very far apart. (Supports all the mod ore types, and any other blocks also). You end up having to travel (or in SMP, trade) to find all the ore's you want, and have a mine for each type.
As I understand it, EVERYONE is being given control over their own modpack. I don't know how it'll work, but anyone will be able to create their own modpack and share it with friends (who have FTB/a Minecraft account). Dire's will simply be shared with more people than anyone else.btocoolman, It's already been said, in this thread, that Direwolf is being given control of his own modpack to be distributed through the FTB launcher, which he plans on using for his fans to follow along with him.

From what I've tried and translated from the website (via chrome Jap>Eng) like his last display chests it shows on top what single items in contained but this new one when fueled with Lapis Lazuli it is capable of storing upto 2,147,483,647 of one item.

Divine RPG looks pretty cool. Might try it myself, but it seems like too much of an overhaul for FTB, since it already has so much stuff already. But who knows?
I would really like to see Nether Ores included in the ultimate pack. It gives players a good reason to explore the Nether, to get more dense ore (cooking yields double, maceration quadruple), however this doesn't come without risk; Not only would you face the normal conditions of the Nether, ores can explode when mined and can cause the Zombie Pig Men to become very upset.

That's already possible with the config for item IDs.I think that are great ideas. Especially the block support function, maybe a option to only enable treecapacitator for the chainsaw, what I consider as a higher tier item.
