it makes the game much more fun and realistic (because getting over a 1,5m fence is impossible...or a 2m wall...or crawl trough a 1m wide hole...)

needs some config, but allows you to make 256 high worlds = dig much deeper, deeper oceans,massive mountains,... also allows many, many config options to create your world, including creating your world from a biome map you can draw yourself !
downside: I did not manage to add the biomes from the extrabiome mod, it is possible, but lots of work, unless you find a config somewhere that adds them...but its still totally worth it, only the 256 high world alone is worth it...digging 128 blocks down from sealevel is a long way down :)

Yea so don't say I'm posting something that isn't supposed to be here.. Cause I'm suggesting a mod. Man so many people think this mod is no more than a "battery operated battery charger that charges it's own batteries". Sick of so many people going against a mod that's up to date, said clearly it's can be used in packs, and decent mods support.. Well no one can change others opinions but themselves. I just might be the first server to run this "trashy mod" and it's does serve real "industrial" purposes. Ever though of also using those blocks in Trade o mats too? Those things are only limited to a stack but with these trade load of charcoal for an iridium plate or uum or whatever else. Or what about making a cool warehouse of some of your supplies you have, Or having more compacted item transfers, instead of lagging the server to hell with short lasting fuels and items send it in bulks!

Sorry, I only saw the link to your forum post. I didn't think the link to the minecraft forums would lead to a mod. Also I didn't read what you said. So my fault. I'm really sorry.

Suggest mod for creation for IC2 and gregtech:

Circuit breaker, If a machine gets too much power, Instead of exploding, It will just not operate, and a red X will be displayed in the machine's UI, Unless it's a GT machine, Because they don't have very good UI systems
This thread is for suggesting existing mods to be considered for FTB.
We need a separate thread for suggesting mod conceptions.
But yes oh bob yes do we need the idea you suggested. But not just as a sepperet part but as a integrated component of the machines.

A: Yes you should. Though I doubt anything useful will come from it. I can't see any mod developer going threw a few thousand posts for ideas.
B: As a slotable upgrade it would be nice. But wouldn't be the most useful. For most of them it would be easier to just add a transformer upgrade. I'd like them to be included as a default function or as a cheap craftable item that can be added between block and wire or better yet as something that can be combined with the common block to produce the protected one. After all this would only have a use early game when a person if having newbish moments and not enough materials to be able to make another easily. Once you have everything properly setup you shouldn't need it any more.
Perhaps as fuses and circuit breakers. A fuse would be just a peace of tin that could be slotted like an upgrade. and replaced with a integrated circuit breaker later.

Integrated would be like you make the circuit breaker and combine/craft them (example electric furnace) with an individual machine. The result would be a protected machine (Safe electric furnace).
As an added bonus they could be made not to break when removed wit the wrong tool. :D

I get it. I'm just thinking of something like a multi tier system. Basic, Surge Protected, Reinforced, and armored. The last would be useful against stray creepers and mining lasers. I have some experience with the last one. :p
