Um, but then if you put those blocks down and dig them, you'd get more; lather, rinse, repeat, MAJOR exploit. Exactly why this was disallowed in the first place.A mod so that if I have both silk touch, and fortune, then I get multiples of the raw block
Still, no matter how hard it is to get, once you DO get it, it's pretty much infinite ores forever. Not a game mechanic I'm particularly fond of.Yea, exactly.
Fortune doesn't always give you extra's, and the combination isn't exactly easy to get.
there are plugins that do this already, they use some nbt tag or metadata to make sure that blocks were generated and not placed.A mod so that if I have both silk touch, and fortune, then I get multiples of the raw block

How can you play with auto? For me it causes the same problems you have but then for all of them even the options menu.I always play minecraft windowed because I'm doing other things aswell while playing minecraft, I have the GUI set to auto so I can still see GUI's pretty well,

The most basic parts of this, AFK and sleeping are fairly easy to implement. The rest would be a little harder. For example first reading it I was thinking that when you walked in I could copy and delete your player from the world (or something similar) and then just put it back in when you pressed w. OFC that wouldn't work on servers (other people not being able to see you among other things), but not a lot of people go AFK on servers anyway so this would be a good quick (although slightly hacky) solution. The other effects could also be achieved by adjusting the stored player's data, but it would take some work.aaand I'm back with some good'ol rambling. a thing which I always hate about vanilla minecraft are the beds. I'm always having a bad time finding a good way of putting them in my base.
personally I'd love it if you'd be able to just put them bed up vertically against the wall, but that would look a bit weird.
thinking about that and with the mods I use I started thinking of perhaps some sort of capsule instead in which you could walk into and it'd act like a bed. the capsule that Sync is pretty much what I was thinking about as how the capsule would look. but because I started thinking about Sync I wondered... why not take it a step further? why not have a capsule that you could walk into to sleep, but how about also have it act as a way of safely going AFK in your world? if you're inside the capsule, you wouldn't be affected by the outside world nor would the outside world try to interact with you (meaning no mobs can see you nor can other players attack you or blow your capsule up), you wouldn't take damage or get hungry and any effect (such as the warp effects from Thaumcraft) wouldn't get triggered. now ofcourse this shouldn't come cheap, you'd need to actually supply the capsule with power to have it function, so if you'd use this capsule to go AFK you'd need to make sure you'd have an automated energy production going.
but what if the capsule could do even more? how about having the capsule also recharge your armor and tools with power while you're inside the capsule, or also have it regenerate your health at a faster rate or nullify any potion effects you're under while you walk in? ofcourse all of this will affect the power usage, the more work the capsule needs to do, the more power it'll use.
but I started thinking some more, it'd be a nice way of safely going AFK, but often I want to quickly look at something to see how it's going and go back to being AFK, but what if I could monitor things while I'm inside the capsule? perhaps there could be a way to add compatibility to the capsule with other mods so you can upgrade your capsule so it'll do more things. there could be a computercraft module in which you can access computers that are nearby and edit their programs. there could be an applied energistics module where you're able to keep an eye on the content of your AE2 network or you'd be able to craft items inside the capsule. or perhaps an Ender IO/Thermal Expansion module so you can keep check on how much power you've stored or how much power you're using, or perhaps even a Big Reactors module so you can see how much power you're generating and perhaps also allow you to control the reactors all within the capsule. more modules would mean a higher energy usage ofcourse, and the modules would actually be blocks that you'd need to attach to the capsule in some way, so the capsule will become a multiblock if you wish to add all these modules.
I was thinking that there could perhaps even be some sort of armor stand function with the capsule, similar to how Tony Stark displays his Iron Man suits. you could add more capsule to the capsule network and add armor to each of these capsules. you can see what armors they're from outside the capsule, and simply walking into a capsule would change the armor you're wearing. each capsule would be able to charge the armors inside it and perhaps you could even change armors while you're inside the main capsule. you'd be able to control everything from within the main capsule through a GUI created through augmented reality. each module would hover around in a window in your field of vision and you can move them around as you wish. you can interact with all these modules through the windows and minimize or maximize them as you wish.
though there's 2 big downsides to a mod like this, the first would be to actually add compatibility for all these mods into this mod, which isn't a very easy thing to do.
the other problem is the gameplay experience. with a mod like this you'd basically be playing most of the game inside this capsule that you almost never have to leave, which doesn't really make the game exciting
Blood Magic has a pretty crazy spell system. Two actually- the simpler one has a total of 36 possible effects, while the complex one has 64 unique effects that can be both combined and upgraded to create something that might appear to be incredibly overpowered to the casual observer. Combining just two of the effects with a whole lot of spell upgrades, for example, creates a mining spell more powerful then anything EE2 ever did... but not without a hefty LP cost.I just want a magic spell mid that isn't as in depth as ars, I like ars magica but I do see certain issues with it. Ideally I would like the TiCon magic I suggest but honestly I would be happy with spells that worked like complex snowballs or bows.
Like a reverse Nightvision? Which would make it actual NIGHT Vision.also something I was wondering while looking for thaumcraft nodes at night, because at night the nodes are easier to spot, why not add glasses that makes it look like it's night?
something like sunglasses that'll make it look like it's night, so things that emit light, such as thaumcraft nodes or forestry beehives are easier to spot
maybe not 200 but you could do only replenishes if A:It would under vanilla mechanics, B:40 other water sources in the chunk, just to make sure that it doesn't try to much rendering whenever you take a bucket of waterThere's probably some mod out there that has this as an option -- but I'd like to make infinite water only work if there are at least 200 blocks in the particular body of water, like a lake or river. Or some number of water blocks; dunno if 200 is the best number, but you get the idea. I just don't like the "infinite water from a tiny pool" mechanic.
