Since most of the world have adopted all things western in all their models, this problem is more universal than you think. It;s true what you say though...

Since we've got some nice dev feedback, is there a method or source that you guys would prefer feedback?
In general, there is really on cut-and-dried checklist for giving constructive feedback... It is an art and a skill picked up through hard work. The same 10,000 rule applies for this kind of endeavour as well. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1402207197][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm just mildly amused that, of everyone here, Reika's math doesn't add up.

I would rather the daily quota of allowed human error happens in trivial things like this and be accurate on things that matter. ;)

I kind of feel that in many places, this is the case, but I don't like it when people make statements that just assume our way is the standard way.

It's probably a Canadian thing.

Thank you thank you thank you... And thank you for being Canadian too, if that's what is making you think this way ;)

I am very glad you made the distinction though... I am not happy about the enforced homogenity creeping through the world either. Variety is the spice of life and the cradle of creativity... Sadly we are strangling it and wondering where's all the creativity gone :(

I really enjoyed CyanideX's model for EC. I thought it looked great and will really fit in when he does the rest of RI.

I heard that world threading isnt coming in 1.8, though :p

World threading is all I really care about at this point because it's a step in the right direction.

That and making buneepers...


It's being worked on for 1.8 and was supposed to be partially released a while back but then stuff happened. I guess.

And you should be able to make bunny slippers from them.

Sponges that change color based on how much water they've absorbed.

Will there be squeezers to get the water out? Will they go into hopper pipes to store in chests? Can we get the water blocks to sift in the sieves? :)

Seriously, isn't that how sponges used to work anyways? Isn't this just old stuff coming back?

I think it's the sponges effect on open water that's changed. No more leaving divots in the ocean.

No, that whole "divots in the ocean" thing was water behavior, in that water did not duplicate on top of water, unlike on top of other blocks. That was changed in 1.5 or 1.6, I believe, so that water now fills in behind itself if you remove something from the bottom up instead of the top down.

Seems like a sensible place to ask (sorry if not)

I've decided I want to remove IC2 and all it's add on's (shame about the addons really, maybe they'll go to other mods like technomancy applied to several mods)

But there are just a couple of features I wouldn't mind having in future packs/self made instances.

1. Crops,I love these especially using with sugar cane, cross breeding is nice but less important as I'd probably have harvest craft adding similar types of food like coffee.

2. Nuclear "TNT" and reactors, would I be right to assume big reactors doesn't quite fill the role but Reactor Craft might? (though honestly looks a bit gregtechy for me)

3. No very important other powersource are manageable for Thermal Expansion, but solar panels.

Speaking of the addons I loved the foci for thaumcraft in Electromagic tools (summon snow golems, smelt stuff in world, would love to see that expanded on with more foci even), and the how finding and restoring a mythological artifact was fun , if someone knew one that may replace that I'd love it (if only another tech-magic mod make could see this and maybe be tempted in to doing something like it).

Mainly it's the crops thing though and even hunger overhaul partially replaces the harvesting feature of them, even all those things though are less the like 10% of the mod really and a lot of redundancy and tedium elsewhere (at least that other mod I didn't like was actually rewarding, totally missed the mark). Maybe others have had better luck finding replacements for these.

If you find RoC/ReC greggy, you're doing it wrong.
