Update 1.0.2
- Disabled easy find in the Doom Like Dungeons, it was breaking bedrock. Thanks @karmarcharger
- Spell book quest now has a reputation task. @ConfigsPlease was right all along!
- Disabled Aquamarine tools from Caveworld mod. They still exist in silent gems.
- Fixed the golemancers bell quest.
- Mobs and animals now aggressively spawn a minimum of 8 blocks away from a player instead of the vanilla default of 24. Thanks @VikeStep
- Hopefully fixed the server files world?
.But wouldn't MystCraft defeat the purpose of the world being a cave system? Unless your talking about very late game materials to make it.
hmm... so I'm having an issue where the client hangs on "6/7 finishing up"... I've tried running different versions of the pack and rebooted to no avail, I'll post the end of the launcher log, any help would be appreciated
Edit: Removing RecurrentComplex got it to launch, I guess I just have to hope that those generated structures aren't too important...

The way I see it, MystCraft fits in with the dimensional magic that creates your prison. I do see where your coming from though and maybe it shouldn't be integrated with the main pack. TBH I just kinda got sick of wandering caves full of monsters and added it so I could enjoy the pack without living in a caveworld.
Hmmm. I'm having a variant of the "Can't sleep." problem. 99% of the time I click on my bed and nothing happens. I have tried clicking on it at 3 minute intervals for half an hour, so at SOME point it must have been "the right time."
What DOES occasionally happen is it spawns some kind of spectre/reaper thingy which can move through walls, tries to kill me, and when I kill it spawns a geist (not ghast!) which when I kill THAT throws purple fire everywhere which destroys the spectre's drops. :6
So, still no sleep, and I am worried about being killed far from the start point for fear I will be randomly spawned somewhere in the dark.

Hmm Electric i think you need to get a magnet to pull things so they don't burn up when dropped, my problem atm is trying to figure out what flower can generator mana i can use since idk if dayblooms get sunlight or nightshades will work best in a this wacky cave world.
Yeah, but really that was kind of like..."My car is exploding and by the way the radio is stuck on one station and won't change."
The real problem is being unable to sleep.
Let us know about the dayblooms! Being underground doesn't seem to be slowing crop growth at least.
Hmm i think nightshades will be the key to the generator beginner mana in this modpack so i think the choice of purple instead of red petal in the previous quest would be the right choice which save ya on about 5 purple flowers. I think i got lucky than since i managed to sleep and set a spawn but otherwise the bed issue isn't a problem for me.
Edit: I think the quest to make nightshades needs to be to along side the mana pool quest because you need to make the nightshades to even get the mana pool which requires mana to get.
Edit 2: oh yes for people looking for clay instead of drops theres a flower in botania that trades sand in for clay and i find sand pretty common, also the ruinic altar quest gives a nether wart so farms for that is possible now to.

I will adjust the botania line accordingly.
You can also find clay pockets that can replace Hardened clay, grass or stone.
My bed doesn't work either. I think it's the one I got from a quest reward, I never built a replacement. When I die, I always respawn at the Caveworld portal. That's fine for me, since I carved out my base right next to it.
Try it at different periods of the day, I believe the time frame still matters. It was working in my test instance before I updated today unless something else broke during the upload.
Cool ya had to research a little but was pretty sure nightshades worked even in caves but after i got that everything else is just waiting for mana to gather i like to make hydro farms with 12 on each side going to 1 pool with a spark that leads to a series of pools that i can fill and play around with.
Never had a problem with clay and with me so far into botania won't even both trying to find it, i got a nice source of sand and making the flower for clay is on a list to do for me.
Edit: if you need to cheat in a new bed and see if that works, if not i don't know anyone would care if you set it to 6pm so you can set spawn.

I cycled through a half-hour period, trying it every 3 minutes. Unless night is less than 3 minutes long, there's a problem.
My bed is also the quest reward bed (though I don't see how it would matter?)
sometimes i find HQM quests and quest items bugged like in Hubris i had to spawn in Ars Magic essence batteries to replace the ones i made for them to work for the quest.
