How about something fundamentally different?
This is it for today. Tomorrow I will finish and do the icon.

Fantastic slogan@Pyure's remark reminded me of a phrase from eons ago from school: "Labour Omnia Vincit" - hard work conquers all...
Yep, just not under rain though.Oh, it's looking nice. Sparse, dark, and it's got that "GT theme" look stamped on it. The only suggestion for it from me would be:
The opacity makes the background too dim. I had to squint to understand was was in the background. Brighten the the texture layer and/or increase the transparency.
@CarbonBasedGhost,
So, Have you configured the machines to blow up now?
No prob. I plan on finishing today.@Queue, Thanks for all the work so far! I will probably need the final revision by tomorrow. Also I need the Icon,
Thanks a ton!,

And here is the slogan test:No prob. I plan on finishing today.
Queue this is fantastic. You incorporated a lot of great brainstorming into this and the results show. I suspect CBG is gonna be very pleased.@all
Thank you very much. I am honestly quite surprised, as I just recently began drawing in GIMP, and doing pixel art type stuff as well. This will be evident to any "real" artist, when they closely inspect any of my images but no matter, here is the first of the final revisions I came up with:
I finally went in and did my own wrench for real, and did my own book. I tried putting HQM on the book cover but it sucked Will a blank cover suffice? What should I do to it?Please feel free to comment.
Obviously I did not do a revision for the alternate "bookending" version, as @CarbonBasedGhost agreed with @AlCapella on which version he liked. I have not made many real world objects in pixel art, so feel free to critique or rage at my noobness here and also on the wrench. Speaking of the wrench, AlCapella, I did not use the Faithful one but just went ahead and did it myself. It came out ok, and the colors are from the real Gregtech iron wrench (I chose iron because bronze was too orange and the steel one blended in too much).
I used a lighting effect on both the book and the wrench. It felt weird when I applied it to the logo (I also darkened the logo's rivets, as they were nearly invisible before).
The entire image was reentered because my OCD vs Symmetry kicked in.
I will try out the Latin slogan too.
I will be making further revisions, a logo and a second version with a more FTB style background (see the other 1st party packs). Comment away.

PS: @CarbonBasedGhost, your name is too long, so you have an acronym now. Enjoy.[DOUBLEPOST=1405455846][/DOUBLEPOST]Btw I think the "plain" book is good.
