Hi I posted a bit earlier with this question:
I got the answer:
Unfortunately this did not work upon second examination. The items just go to the first chest, and once it is full they just spill out of the pipes.
I just set mine like dis:

Quarry -> chest -> Itemduct -> array of chests connected by that same itemduct

And it works wonders =3

Double check your itemducts are setup properly. If they're in extraction mode they won't be seen as valid destinations.

Also, itemducts seem to act a little funny with double chests. I don't use many double chests, though, so I don't know if they'd cause this problem.

Is an intel e2180 as good as an AMD Athlon 64?

It depends on whether you want the absolute fastest CPU (Intel, currently) or want to pay less. I got my 4GHz 8-core AMD (FX-8350) last August for just under $200 while a comparable I7 was running about $600. I had already upgraded the rest of the system to a mainboard that could use the previous CPU as well as the newer one the prior year so it was just a matter of "drop-it-in" and let Windows reshuffle it's internal drivers.

Is there a way to designate a specific location for an autospawner to spawn a creature?

I'm trying to improve the accuracy of my cow launcher...
Im pretty sure there isnt a way to tell it an exact location. I know it spawns randomly in a 5 x 5 location.[DOUBLEPOST=1401897302][/DOUBLEPOST]

Well i have the e2180 and I'm just curiose if its fast enough to run ftb. I need more ram, but was hoping my cpu would work until i can get a new computer.

I just looked up the specs for the e2180... 2 cores, 2GHz, 800MHz Front-side bus (ram speed, basically). I believe you said you had 4GB ram in the system as well.

Your FSB (Front Side Bus) was ok in 2007 when the chip was released but not the fastest even then. I'm not up on Intel's current selection but I know my AMD runs ram at 1800MHz right now and when I upgrade to DDR3 I'll be running at 2200MHz. Intel's top I7s support even faster FSB if you can afford them.

If you can add more ram I'd think about upgrading to a total of 8GB... This will allow you to configure Java/MC to use 3.5-4GB while leaving the same amount reserved for Windows.

You might look at your mainboard specs to see if you can upgrade the CPU to a newer chip. When I bought my current mainboard it worked with the previous chip I had as well as the latest ones. AMD now builds their memory controllers into the CPU and I went from having a 1300MHz DDR2 controller to a CPU that supports overclocked DDR2 and DDR3 at faster speeds.

Hope this helps.

How good are magic crops? Are they a really good way to get resources?

Absolutely.

In my current Monster world i'm using it to farm huge amounts of utility materials (diamond, quartz and nether quartz for processors and things for AE, ender pearls for tesseracts, glowstone for the final stage of ale fermenting etc). It's reduced my usual emphasis on quarrying the shit out of the landscape a bunch.

Other people say you can produce enough uranium to run multiple BigReactors full pelt, this I can fully believe.

A simple 9x9 plot with one planter, one harvester and [many different mods' methods of speeding up plant growth] will provide you with more cool stuff than you can use in a lifetime :)

I am using the Mindcrack Pack.

If I take out the radioactive trait of a Radioactive Queen, will that cause both the princess and drone to also not carry that trait? The Radioactive Queen would have been made from two pure Radioactive bees with the trait. Will doing the above save me from having to neutralize each pair of Radioactive bees?

It *should* do, but there is an element of randomness when it comes to messing with the genetic traits of queens. For certainty it's best to add the traits to the princess and drone.
