Yes, but it's literally Monster with the Magic Mods removed. Still contains a lot of the bloat Monster does though.

My pack is based off Monster, but I've modified it extensively to provide the optimal experience for my group of friends. One loves magic mods and uses them almost exclusively; our pack includes Ars Magicka 2 and Witchery, just as an example.

Why is my ritual of binding not activating? I used the diviner technique; does it have to be close to an altar?
I whacked it with my weak activation crystal and threw the diamond sword, but nothing is happening. I tore it down and reset it, but still nothing...

Is that a large network of floating islands, or one small platform in an endless void that players can then build islands off of?
If the former, I believe you need a Skylands (as opposed to Sky Biome, which is the biome in the End and will spawn a dragon) page (perhaps before a Standard Terrain or Flatlands page, I don't remember if it's a modifier or not); for the latter, it's a Void page. I think there's also an End World page, which presumably makes one large island. It should accept a block modifier- if you do Stone, then End World, you might get a stone island with dirt, grass, and plants on top.
Did you click your activation crystal on nothing first? Doing that will bind it to yourself, so any rituals you activate with it will know who to draw LP from. At least, I assume that's the reason.
Also, you might have to throw in the sword first, THEN activate the ritual.
Also check if there is enough LP in your network to activate it.
I did click it on nothing first, several times to make sure. I am not sure whether that had an effect or not, and I can't remember if it then said that it was bound to me.
The wiki guide doesn't say anything about LP being required for this ritual. Also, will it draw from my network or from a nearby altar?
I do have a magician's orb, with about 100,000 LP as well. What am I missing?
(It's probably something very simple and I will facepalm very hard when I find out...)
Also, I believe the MCForum post is a bit outdated, so I won't be trusting that. I've already noted some differences, anyway. It's off to check the wiki! That wonderful wiki of Orz...

Your network needs 30k LP stored, and the activation crystal needs to be bound to you. Make sure the ritual fully constructed too. If it still doesn't work, post some pictures. And yeah, my guide is a WIP on the wiki (computer problems
). The article for it does say it needs 30k LP though. 
Oh, and order doesn't matter. Activate either before or after the sword is tossed in.
Hmmm... last I checked, there was 100K+ LP in my network. I think the crystal is bound to me, but I should probably check that too.
