Tinkerer and Thaumcraft have now been updated
this only leaves Passive Slaughterer which seems to be bugged and connect to Mob War
guess we'll need confirmation from @Jadedcat if these two quests really are bugged or not

EDIT: welp everyone, after going into my creative world and unlocking and completing all hidden bragging right quests so far that we've discovered I seem to have unlocked the very last quest called "The True Completionist" which basically asks for a nether star in your inventory
after completing that quest, all the quests have been completed in the book

this still leaves the problem with "Passive Slaughterer" and "Mob War".
after finishing everything Mob War did not reappear but I was able to complete them all, so maybe you're meant to complete "Mob War" and after completion it'll automatically disappear and unlocks and completed "Passive Slaughterer" but because I'm not 100% sure if this is meant I still left it in red and italic until we get confirmation about it

lastly a few tips for those trying this out in a creative world, use the command "/hqm edit" if you want to easily complete quests (it'll tell you how to do it in the creative quest book) and craft the required crafted items in survival in a work bench if you can't seem to unlock the hidden bragging right quests that require you to craft an item

Passive Slaughter and Mob War are a set of quests where completing 1 means the other is invalidated. You can only have one.

What's funny is the aggressive mobs (like zombies) work for passive slaughter, is that intended?

Weird. I've been running off of Java8 for a while [ever since someone suggested it due to my laggy worlds]. But today AgS wouldn't launch...until I installed Java7 and switched the launcher to use it.

That is rather weird, I used java 8 back when I played agskies and it worked for me.

Hmm...seems I've broken my passive hostile mob farm. I'm guessing the only way to fix it is to '/cofh killall' which means I'll need to find another coven to restock my WoS?
Grab them in lassos/safari nets first? Don't know if that'll save them, as hellfish in blocks get killed by a /cofh killall.

Yeah...coven of 64 trapped in a 1x1 area...totally enclosed...no food or water...lights always on [so no sleeping]...not to mention the constant tick of the WoS...they weren't too friendly when I popped the lid...

So I popped the bottom instead :p

You don't need to worry about 'ZOMG so many mods' when you start. Just follow along with the quest book and google 'Agrarian Skies Protips and Tricks' for some time-saving pointers.
Cheers man :) It seems that following the quests works fine so far. I've been planting trees for the past 8 hours anyway :p

Tinkerer - Manually craft a Casting Basin, Casting Table, Seared Brick, Seared Faucet, Seared Glass, Seared Tank and Smeltery Controller,

Is there any way to finish step 2 of this quest? The chiseled seared bricks I can craft do not work and in fact don't look like the item in the quest. I haven't found any seared bricks in NEI that look like that.

I don't think it wants chiseled seared bricks. Just regular seared bricks.

pretty much this. I had the same problem, that the quest didn't accept the chiseled seared bricks
turned out it wanted the chiseled seared bricks from the seared stone, not the seared brick

if you don't know how to craft seared stone, simply drop your seared ingots into the smeltery and dump the liquid in a casting basin

Doh, that must have been one of the very few things I haven't tried, thanks a lot =)

to be honest, it's not really explained very well, probably most people wouldn't have figured this out
but having replayed Agarian Skies for a few months now... well, you'll learn a few things

I need some opinions on what I'm about to do in my Agrarian Skies world, I'm not knowledgeable about the Applied Energistics when it comes to autocrafting and how the cables work yet, but here's the plan:
Basically I'm currently on a central island with a mob tower, but in order to specialise in the four different categories of farming, bee breeding, technology and wizardry, I'm going to build four islands that are all 80 blocks away from the central island, with walkways going to each.
I'll be mass producing stuff on most of those islands (maybe except for wizardry), so the question is how I deal with chunk loading and how the ME system will hook up. Due to all the craziness that'll be going on at the technology island, most likely the ME system will be centred there. Should I rely on item tesseracts to teleport items into the ME system, or would it be more cost efficient to use almost 6 stacks of ME bus cables that travel under each of the walkways? I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many items each method will handle.

If you can make the tesseracts, use them, UNLESS you already plan on keep everthing chunkloaded anyway (In my case, I made 1 chunkloader and stacked everything in those 10x10 (100) chunks

I would play AG skies, if my computer would actually run it on Java 8 :p
Crash anding is getting a lot of press,but lots of people are still playing AG skies, maybe you just managed to answer ALL the questions?

BYW does anyone have the link to where Direwold jumped into a hole Pahimar made in Ag Skies.

PS: I may be misremembering which modpack they were playing
