Make sure your launcher is up to date, then delete/re-download the mods.
He tried all four tiers and the hammer was valid/updated. Have you tested it in SSP on your own? I haven't had time and probably won't for the next few days.

OK, that was just some problem on my part. I move everything to the vanilla launcher and run it from there, and i did it on the FTB launcher and it works. The server problem still exists, though. I don't like the actual FTB launcher on 1.7 packs because it runs so slowly i can't play. Basically once i sort that out i still need to do the whole internet thing.
Have you tested your internet? I think one site that allows you to test that is speakeasy.
How do i tell what version of forge the pack is using? That might be my problem i have no idea.
And what do you mean by test it? it gave me numbers but i have no idea what they have to do with the connection because neither is 0. I can connect to other servers easily, and i have unplugged and replugged my router twice now.

To check the forge version: go to the main menu and it should be listed in the lower left. This shouldn't be an issue, but it's probably worth a check anyway.
For testing your connection: the numbers represent download/upload speed. I'm not an expert but my "really good" connection is about 25 megabytes download speed (which is generally what you talk about). 0 megabytes is no connection (which you don't have). The fact that you can connect to other servers more or less nullifies this, though.
Another question: are you using fast craft or any other mods not in the default pack?
Just out of curiosity, have you set up multiple profiles with separate directories on your vanilla MC launcher? It's huge for convenience and will definitely make updating/switching between packs a lot easier.
We'll keep troubleshooting this here a little longer, but at some point you should probably post in the tech support area, as I'm running out of troubleshooting options.

Both numbers are close to 25 (22 and 28), and i set it to Chicago because i believe Harvest said the server is run from there. Yes I am using fastcraft and optifine. I have not set up multiple directories but i think i can figure out how by myself.
The problem was that for whatever capacitor he was trying to put on the hammer didn't have 1 durability for every 1,000 RF the capacitor holds. You cannot change that value I believe because its a vanilla tinkers value that was added during the change to 1.7.10.What do you mean, "it was durability?" Try removing fast craft, then try; then add optifine and then try, and then remove both and try again.
If you need help setting up directory stuff, I can help; when I first figured it out there wasn't much information out there and it was really frustrating.

Well I solved the one thing on my own, but unfortunately the internet thing still is weird. There must be some type of block to the connection that i am not finding. I did remove both so it might have been one of those.
Nope my hammer is a manyullyn rod and plates and a cobalt head for just under 24k durability. Once I get the materials I will put a resonant flux capacitor on itAlright. Firstly, congrats on having a great internet connection XD

.There is one thing that I could try, by deleting your player.dat file on the server it may correct the problem. As it implies it will clear your inventory though..
What error is it throwing when it disconnects you from the server? If it is invalid mod configuration then its an update issue. That is the only one I know off the top of my head.
Do you know what solved it...? Try adding them back separately and see if it works. The scientific method is pretty much the essence of tech support.
It's important to know all the potential issues, both for fixing purposes and for adding-bugs-to-the-bugs-list purposes.
Don't do that yet, and if you do, don't delete it, just cut/paste it somewhere else temporarily. If that ends up not being the issue, it'd be nice to get that back.
If you dont mind, could you just remove it but not delete it and put it back in if it doesnt work? NVM ninja just said the same thing basically

It worked! Could you spawn in a flux infused helmet, leggings and a flux jetplate for me? the rest of what i had wasn't too hard to make, other than my polytools but the recipe was changed anyway. I really dont want to make a lot of enderium again for that armor and every other tier.
Me and gothchild have the same hammer- I do wanna get a cleaver today though.
