I seem to be having issue both repairing and upgrading my tools with Iguana Tweaks. I can't replace any of the parts on the tools, nor can I repair the tools in a normal crafting window. I checked the configs, both seem to be enabled. I was wondering if anyone had a fix or was receiving similar problems. Sorry if someone else mentioned in this thread, I looked and couldn't see anything.
Edit: It looks like I can replace the pickaxe head going from iron to stone, but not from stone to iron, even though the mining level is boosted.

Me and gothchild have the same hammer- I do wanna get a cleaver today though.
I'm kinda debating on adding ender io just for the capacitor banks and wireless charger. I hate having to have a completely separate machine just to charge things that need charged.

I just noticed that myself. I will take a look at the configs really quick and post what needs to be changed to enable those modules.
EDIT: Hmm that's interesting. After looking at the configs it looks like you should be able to replace any part with any other part as long as it doesn't change the tool. For some reason it's not working. I will have to look through a few other modpacks config files and compare the difference to see what is going on with it. Give me about 10-15 minutes and I should have an answer on the issue.
EDIT 2: After comparing 2 different versions of the configs one of which I know allows you to change any tool part for another I found that they are nearly identical in regards to changing of parts. I will have to dig deeper to figure out what is causing the issue.
EDIT3: Okay this is entirely confusing me now. The 2 versions I am comparing are the one from Agrarian Skies 2 and this pack. They are both running the same version of iguana tweaks with similar module configs yet acting completely different. Must figure out the issue. Time for more digging.

Yeah... Do you know of any mods that add smarter charging thingies?

Thanks for looking into the issue @Str8UpWHITE64 reported. I've put "Igtweaks derps" into the bugs list in the meantime. I may have to make you deputy bugtester if you keep helping like this... :D
I should probably add a "Major Contributors" section for people who have done a lot of helpful things, as well as a "Servers" section (especially for @Harvest78's server) so people know where they can go to play this pack in its natural environment.
I may give everyone a "title" in the contributors section, which they choose. :)
(Might be a while before those happen, though)

Only reason I am so good at bug testing is cause I am really good at breaking things. I still can't come up with an answer as to why tool parts can't be replaced. Can anyone post the configs from Iguana Tweaks cause I have slightly broken mine from pack standard version. But smart charger thingies? Are you talking like wireless charging?

Are you talking about on the server? I've had that same issue. Check if the recipe shows up in SSP. If you haven't figured it out, "Test in SSP" is standard procedure. :p
I will look into that once I get this iguana tweaks issue figured out. It is starting to give me a headache:mad:.

Does the issue maybe have to be with the XP requirement you set on the tool replacement thing? It doesn't seem like it would be...

I have been putting off copy and pasting the config files from one pack to the other. I'll do that now and if that doesn't work I am completely out of ideas on that problem.
EDIT: I doubt Str8UpWHITE64 copied my config file into his game. But even if he did that shouldn't cause the problem with replacing tool parts.

EDIT: After looking for any other wireless chargers I found none using google. There are ways to do it with random things and XU thought but its not a true wireless system like the ender io wireless charger.

EDIT2: After about 2 hours of config changes and everything else I have done I realized exactly what my problem was. I was trying to replace a stone lumber axe and stone is no longer a valid material for tools. Do I ever feel like I need to look at what I'm doing :oops:.

The recipe does not exist in singleplayer, nor does it work if i try to craft it with any recipe i remember

Well now that I have figured out that I was just not paying attention to what my tool was made out of I will start working on this issue. Give me about 10 minutes to get an initial idea of what's going on.
EDIT: It looks like they should be craftable. Try this recipe and see if it works it should yield 1 reciever:
[[ironIngot, ironIngot, ironIngot],
[redstone, <rftools:machineFrame>, redstone],
[null, enderPearl, null]]

I don't know if the second edit is in regards to our Iguana issues, but I was able to replace a few heads on a few pickaxes in creative. I don't know why the stone isn't able to be replaced, nor am I sure why repairing items doesn't work in a crafting window, but at least most heads are replaceable.

I only started using this pack today, so if stone tools are supposed to be disabled, they aren't. I made my first few tools with stone heads and they work just fine, until you try to upgrade them. Also, could someone test that receiver recipe? Both whether it shows up and whether it works.

The only one I'm seeing error out is the copper tools scripts. I noticed that the receiver and transmitter script looked slightly different than the others, but I don't know much about minetweaker scripts. It will be something someone with more knowledge of minetweaker will need to look at.

Yeah... When I get access to my computer, I'll post the lines @Harvest88 will need to remove from RFTools.zs in the server's scripts folder (those of you who are SSPers can remove them as well). I'll investigate it some more myself when I have more time.
