This pack can runs casually on 768MB-1GB for a few players, while a heavier one like ours will want 1.5GB-2GB. Mileages may vary of course, for example if your player base is way spread out then you can expects to hit more RAM usage than us who we are hanging out in a 64x64 hole.

The update probably won't come out until after next weekend; progress right now is slow due to IRL stuff, but speed should pick up a lot after that. :)

To add insult to injury, summer is approaching. And we both have finals. Well, I do, at least.

Yeah, but I like it, so it stays in and (mostly) un-nerfed. :D
The only changes I've made/plan on making are disabling Minechem chemical lakes (done) and TiCon oreberry bushes as materials (planned). :p

I only recently realized that these were possible to get as a material. That's actually not intended and perhaps I should consider blacklisting them by default :)

Yeah... I mean, lakes of meth are fun, but lakes of palladium or iodine or chlorine are not. :p
Oreberry bushes are too much work to cultivate to be OP, but having to walk across them or deal with the rendering lag... Yuck.
I'm glad you're taking these experiences into account. :D

You think I should blacklist all liquids from that mod? If so can you put such a dimlet in your hand and show me what /rftcfg dimletcfg says? That way I can use that to blacklist the entire mod.

I have blacklisted the dimlets from the entire mod.

What am I missing/ doing wrong here? I haven't spent a ton of time with buildcraft, but I've checked every guide I can find and every different configuration I can think of, and I can't make oil go into a refinery or a compression engine. I've got a waterproof wooden pipe with a redstone engine on it. A few stone pipes and either a refinery or a combustion engine. If I put a tank on the end it fills no problem, but it won't fill the refinery or engine. It's probably something stupid, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. The oil fills the pipes, but will not go into the refinery or engines.

It's not your fault and it is stupid at the end of the day.. You will want a GC Refinery and covert the oil to fuel that way then you can burn that fuel into compression dyano. The reason why you cannot pump the oil to either of mentioned devices that "type" of oil is not "compatible" with them.

If I remember right from my old school tekkit days then the oil needs to be piped in to the side with the 2 tanks on it. I think that it also needs to be the buildcraft oil and not the galacticraft oil.

Yeah, it's "crude oil," which is the Galacticraft version of regular, Buildcraft oil. It spawns in pockets underground instead of fountains. GC oil requires GC refineries, BC oil requires BC refineries. It's a pain in the butt. :(
I'll try to fix that in the next version. If that doesn't work, I'll just add a note about it in the "Oil Tycoon" quest; I've already added a recipe that converts between the GC and BC refineries. :)

Oh if you want me to do a full rewrite of the iguana tweaks configs let me know. I will most likely disable vanilla tools but I will enable a full wooden tinker tool just so people don't have to search for hours to find a piece of flint in case of a bad seed.

I love when configs are actually changed and catered to the pack instead of just dumped in there without thought. It makes the pack feel more like the authors creation than just throwing mods together and saying "here have a bunch of mods that you could have put together yourself but I did it for you".
