TBH, the item cycling is pretty much the 1 thing I dislike about GT. I love the complexity it adds to the game. I guess my issue is more with NEI than with GT for that. Since I learned that holding Shift stops the cycling, it hasn't bothered me quite as much but I'd rather see multiple pages...

The best solution I found, if you want to use full conduits but miss the BC gates on pipes is to use structure pipes on the machines set to Has Work -> Redstone signal, then to run a redstone wire from these to my TE cell, which is set to only output power when it receives a redstone signal.

Well yeah, but I was talking about the base alveary. Not counting the heater, fan or swarmer.

From what I remember, the only advantage of the alveary over apiary is that you don't need frames for maximum productivity. Everything else is needed as normal.

I dunno what pack you're in Saice, but if you're on the mindcrack pack, you could make a few extra bee machines to inoculate Cave Dwelling into all your bees. That would allow you to have a "true" underwater base without those glass pillars shooting up.
