Be wary that only vanilla swamp biomes will spawn slimes. EBXL swamps (green swampland, etc) don't have the slime spawns. They may eventually, but from what I know, they're hard coded to spawn in normal swamps only.

I'd LOVE for Nethercraft to be added. But sadly the mod was never updated since 1.2.5 .. It was one of my favorite mod back then.

That's a neat idea, but the Magic Pack doesn't include Computercraft. If OP doesn't know (or want to) how to add mods, he can't use that. Book & Quill is the next best thing tho.

I could be wrong, but since both packs are made by the FTB team, the mods that are in the beta pack should not give you any ID conflicts if you use them in the magic pack. They should use standard configs to prevent that. I've only added XYcraft to my own magic pack, so I can't really say for...

Just a little warning to the newer bee breeders: don't settle in an icy wasteland for the glacial bees. The humidity in that area is Arid. Meaning your ice bees won't be functional there without you giving them a good tolerance. Noticed it when I tried to breed my bees in my ExtraBiomeXL biome :(

Reddened, Darkened and Omega are remnants from the FTB challenge pack (from 1.2.5). They were made to generate EMC with EE2. Sengir never removed them.

That is correct. The number of flowers doesn't affect the production rate. The only thing that will affect it is the frames (untreated, proven, etc) and an Alveary instead of the apiaries.

The best thing to automate bee breeding is to use Logistic Pipes and Additional BC Objects (Insertion pipes ftw). Logistic Pipes adds some bee based pipes. Then you can tell some other pipes to just supply 1 of each (princess and drone). I used to have a system for that made back in 1.3.2 but I...

Ender Pearls are kinda useful and needed in some of the mods. BC uses them for the autharcic gates and TC3 for the Alienis symbol. Pretty much the only thing that has it.
