Don't see how that's subjective. I can build a pair of tesseracts faster than someone can learn LUA, program and trouble shoot a turtle to get it to work.

Not everyone likes turtles, wants turtles or can use turtles. Also, if you have enough energy generation, but not many materials. A tesseract is still more viable, 25% energy or loads of mats for a massive redstone conduits hook-up. well energy is cheap if you've already got a boiler setup...

They fill up thier own buffer if they have nowhere to send power, you can't put power into that buffer. All engines have a failure state if they fill up themselves, but it's impossible to fill it up externally, or you could blow up an engine without even turning it on by filling it's buffer from...

If you're going to do that just have an apiariest pipe filtering bees one way and items the other, and if you're using pneumatic tubes, buffers are your friend for transfering between buildcraft and redpower.

If you have power to spare tesseract is a win solution, since it doesn't have a distance limit and can even work cross dimensionally.

I love playing on DW20's pack for casual play, and making overly large power rooms etc. But i'm also interested in the sense of accomplishment that Mindcrack could give even making small advances. Engines do have an internal storage, HOWever, they cannot accept power, only put it out, so you can't fill thier internal buffer from an outside power source, which is why the arrow makes no difference to them. DoctorOR was right, it only matter for blocks that can accept energy aswell as output it.

With that much distance an energy tesseract may actually be more effeciant, 25% energy loss is nothing compared to the materials you would save in make 150 conduits. Take the extra mats you save and build more power production.

The gun already feels more like outlaw star to me than DMC, ebony and ivory fire bullets... The hunter's gun fires TNT... which I underestimated and took my face off with the first time. >.< Shame we don't have a black hole bullet that takes a few hearts to cast.

To solve your other problem, i'm pretty sure Thermal expansion machines will automatically pump out items, but only into a Buildcraft pipe, so you need a chest or buffer there to tranfer them into pneumatic tubes again. Two other things to mention, never insert into the bottom of a barrel, and...

Set up a quarry and demolish the damn thing, it should take out spawners and pick up all the chests + items. Then just go around in a nice open area and kill anything left alive.

Peat is good since it's cheap as hell, and once those boilers heat up, lasts a good amount of time. But I found Biofuel was alot better in the long run, fully renewable and last a very good amount of time per bucket.

I have config folders for Gregtech, Adavanced Solars, petrogen, magicyarn, minechem, ropesplus, secretrooms, traincraft, xreliquary... and a few more. But none of those mods are in the pack. Are they just there incase you add the mods? What's up with these extra configs.

Surely the best thing to do would be to turn it into a Thaumium sword and put repair 2 on it. But on a side note, anyone know how to get enchants off a sword onto a book?
