Okay that's helped alot, but one more question now arises, when it says credit the authour and give a link to thier work, where do we credit them and add the link? Do you add it in the text file you send to the mods with the mod pack or is there some other place you do it?

This topic has been up before, and I know about getting permissions, but I have 2 other questions. 1. How do we add the private pack to the launcher? 2. If I got permission could I use someone elses private mod pack?

I used this setup but with zombie pigmen, shove a diamond pipe and packager on it, bingo, free gold bars, everything else is voided. And with minium shards if you're on dw20, you can transmute those into diamonds and iron.

Can never have enough scrap, just add more mass fabs :D seriously those things eat the stuff like it was limited edition. One MFSUs worth of EU can eat over 100 stacks.

You could also try an automated scrapbox lucky dip, have it sort items you want from opened scrap boxes and void the junk, leave it running and check it every so often, or rescrap the items you don't want instead, either is good.

How did you add the mods? you have to add them in the launcher editor, AND make sure they are in the instmods folder. Also i'm not sure advanced solars work without gregtech.

Endermen only pick up naturally occuring blocks, like smooth stone, dirt, sand etc. never a player made block. So turning off griefing won't do much for you, especially if you have a house made of planks or some such, since they will ignore it.

a bluelectric motor only outputs upto 20MJ/t and takes 109 solar panels to reach peak, just saying. it's not a bad option if you have that spare and 20MJ/t isn't a bad amount for a quarry. but damn that would cover a huge area.

I would put Thaumium over Steel because of it's enchantability, and because it can take the repair enchant specifically, which makes it a lot more useful than steel. But not enough to be better than the quaility of diamond.

A Gav suit? :D a small winged monkey named Gav will carry you around. Sorry couldn't resist. But a jetpack is a good suggestion too, A grav suit is pain in the butt to craft especially if you're just starting i'd say it was impossible.

Depends how good you are at building and what difficulty you have it on. As long as you use plenty of torches at night, stay on your toes for creepers and keep yourself fed, survival isn't too hard on normal difficulty. As for building, you can't fly but i'm sure you can figure out work arounds...
