Save the world file , re make the server , delete the world that it makes then paste yours back in there. It should fix the issue

simple you do not have the same client version as there server. If you want evolved update it to the latest version and it will roll over. If you want a server and friends to join you have to port forward and give them your external IP

You dont have to put anything in the server.props. Just give them your IP and put this after it ":25565"

Did you type in "Localhost" or did you put your external IP address to locate it?
