cant connect to any server

Details of the issue:
i currently have ftb infinity and am looking to get evolved but am unsure how to do so, secondly when trying to join other infinity servers it states i cant join due to a lack of many fml mods?? please help as i will answer all questions to the best of my ability​

simple you do not have the same client version as there server. If you want evolved update it to the latest version and it will roll over. If you want a server and friends to join you have to port forward and give them your external IP
