I'm an adventurer at heart. I'd love some functionality to be added to ocean biomes. Fishes and the like. Maybe a special ore that you can only find underwater? Coral or sunken ships or something? Obviously I've not put much thought into this. But still oceans are useless.

These threads always confuse me. Do people honestly expect someone else to set up and pay for a server for other people? Because of an added "benefit" of getting to play on the server they've paid for?

We have nothing disabled on my server. But I play with good friends, that I trust (and frankly I'm too lazy to try to run a server with strangers).

Honestly (and I can't believe I'm admitting to this) when I play I have a Harry Potter movie going on in the background 98% of the time. I don't know why, it soothes me.

You can also change the config for TC, enabling you to "cheat" a fully researched thauminomicon in, if you've done all the research.

Hon, you want to open your actual FTB folder, not the launcher. Then double click on folder of the pack you're using, then mindcraft, then saves - that's where your folder needs to go.

Man I love the Mindcrackers. I can't pick my favorite - it's a tie between Guude, Etho, Beef and Zisteau. I do love a grumpy Baj, too. When the videos are released, it's team Nancy Drew first, from Guude's perspective, then Etho, then usually Avidya, Generik and Paul (in no specific order)...

I don't think IC2 is OP. I don't think any mods are "OP". If something feels too easy, I don't use it. I use GT for the neat tools it adds, and I don't mind a little extra grinding.

I played both Tekkit and FTB sans GT and I don't hate (I'm using it now in fact). So your facts are incorrect :)

So does flux spawn by itself? Because it was a completely unexplored area, on a new server - no one even has a wand yet, so no magic has been done at all.

Maybe try higher? The web-site says "above diamond, below sea level". Sorry I'm not much help.

I was on my server last night, exploring around. I came across an area with no less than 50 wisps. There was *no* flux in the environment at all. Any ideas?

Thermal Expansion: The machines are sexy, smart and intuitive. Everything about the mod is really well done. TC3: I absolutely love the changes he's made. Researching makes a lot of sense and the items you can create are not only amazing, but incredibly useful. Also, golems.
