I generally remember what a recipe needs. But I rarely remember the order that they go in. I always mix something up.

I'd pull your current files into a MultiMC instance, then add the mods (to the mod folder, of course). You'll probably have to adjust some configs. I'd look at the config files (or item ID's) of the mods you're adding and adjust those. You can always use a mod like ID Resolver to help, too...

I am, very excited. I've been holding off on starting a new world for about two weeks now in hopes of a 1.5 pack (I'm one of those obnoxious peeps who start over frequently). I will heavily modify the 1.5 pack, so I may wind up just building my own.

I never have (and never will, likely) understand a person demanding a mod be taken out of a pack because it *could* be used in a way that *might* make things easier. Never mind that it doesn't have to be used this way, and that most won't ever do so, and that there are plenty of other valid ways...

I can't really answer just one. The server I run has it on "hard". Another server I'm on has it disabled. My private world has it on "easy". I don't really care either way. I like the tools it offers, but I'm not overly fussed if it's left out. I'm like the only "meh" person about this...

Yes, everyone will *have* to have the same config files (aside from world gen). The easiest thing to do would be to have everyone disable GT in the launcher, and delete the mod server side.

I've felt this way before, too. Watching DW is a really good suggestion - he's very knowledgeable about the mods, and he teaches in a way that's actually very interesting. I also used to do a lot of wiki/YouTube hopping while playing, but I really don't have to much anymore. It took a while...
