I think using ID Resolver my first go around is my issue. I really do need to start from the ground up and rebuild. I think I'm going to snag the configs from FTB and work around those. I just feel like I don't have a good enough grasp of these things to be successful. Only one way to find out!

I'm not seeing any id conflicts in my console. The "issue" I'm having is "unnamed items" showing up in my NEI. I assumed those were ID conflicts, but perhaps I'm incorrect.

Yeah I feel like using the ID Resolver set me back some and it's better to start over from the ground up. Noob question - if something shows up in NEI as "unnamed item" - that's an ID conflict, right?

Okay, manually it is! I read that terrian block ids have to be under 256 - anyone know if that's true?

Easiest way to resolve them? I built my own pack and tried ID Resovler, but it resulted in crashes. Any tips to make this relatively painless? TIA :)

Iron pipes react to redstone signals, and switch. Have you tried putting a longer buffer between the iron pipe and the gate?

When you create a new instance, you'll need to right click on the instance. Then you'll 'edit mods' and in the jar mods section, you'll see an MC Forge button on the right. That will load a list of Forge for you to choose from. HTH!

I did it! It's not every mod I want (it's more like a little magic pack), but I did it! *does happy dance*

I did, I'm crashing. I'm sure given some effort I can figure out what is causing the crash, but I've got a fever which doesn't isn't conducive to problem solving, at least for me. I know I'm not dumb. I'm actually very intelligent. But on this, I'm woefully ignorant :)
