Well, it looks like all my problems begin and end with the Weather mod in this pack. Disabling it made it so my "server" can "keep up". But disabling it makes it so I can't make a crafting table to expand my crafting grid (or at least enabling it allowed me to expand it). Fun stuff.

To have linking books work within the same world, they have to have the "interlinking" trait on the link page. This is achieved by adding ingredients to the ink before you make the page. I believe gold dust is one of the better options for doing this.

I've never delved into Engineer's Toolbox, but don't the upgrades only go on Engineer's blocks or something? Almost certain they don't go on things from other mods like energy cells.
