Is the pattern for Obsidian from EE3 intended

I cannot wait until I can automate the last step of thaumcraft metal production. It can be an incredibly cost-effective way to handle these things. I really wish we had some better control mods in the FTB packs so I could actually regulate my metal supply. Right now the #1 thing holding me...

Is the pattern for Obsidian from EE3 intended

Because the only thing it made sense to build were more condensers until you could nearly instantly conjure anything with a wave of your hand. EE2 basically took over the game. Now, don't get me wrong... a non-mixed-mod EE2 experience was fun and balanced because everyone had to play that way...

    Repairing Thaumcraft wands

That sounds amazing! I've installed a lever to slowly smelt spare cobble while I am away from my base. The only problem I've yet to fix is how insanely productive golems farming are... I literally do not know what to do with all this food.

How to integrate BC pipes with RP tubes?

Make sure it's oriented correctly. There is a "correct" orientation for the all 3 proposed solutions.

How to integrate BC pipes with RP tubes?

Then that is the best option. Like I said, for some reason relays can never keep up on my server. It's too bad we have to rely on such janky solutions as these RP2 bridges. We need better pipes!

How to integrate BC pipes with RP tubes?

What you want is a pipe leading to a chest, then an RP2 Filter attached to that chest. Put no items in the filter and give it a 1s redstone timer. It'll pull out full stacks, 1 per second. If you're using Ender Chests, you can link the filter directly to that. I'm pretty sure Sorting Machines...

    Repairing Thaumcraft wands

I am pretty sure we've used an uncrafting table to get Frugal and Charging on one wand of excavation. Anyone who actually has issues with aura drain around their base needs to start investing research time into solving that problem. There are multiple approaches and they can turn your base...

    Suggest Mods for FTB Here

It seems to come up every month so I'll add it again. Logistics Pipes has a very stable branch for 1.4.7 that seems to work when I include it into Direwolf20 and Mindcrack by hand without any bad side effects. As far as I can tell, it was within the license for this fork to be created so it's...

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Ah, I see what you mean. This is a very good point! Still, my point stands. I wish we had logistics pipes in the FTB packs. It's not only more powerful than redpower2's stuff, it's grown into something that is more fun and feels "more minecrafty." And those HUD goggles? Hot like the sun.

What Looks Better? (Your Personal Opinion)

Just hitting the like button doesn't fully express how much I like this idea. I'm setting up to do a Let's Play with a friend and I think this will be our goal, too. It has a Star Trek kind of feel.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Item Tesseracts are cheaper than ender chests, more flexible, and let you make your build size even smaller. Ender chests are outclassed pretty handily by them now. If we had logistics pipes in the FTB family, then it'd be really hard to justify using ender chests at all.

    Methane or hydrogen production

If Hydrogen is a by-product of your process, why wouldn't you burn it? It's above breakeven, right?

    Ic2 Electric Multi-tool

Universal Electricity's Mekanism does a bit of this with the Paxel, and Modular Powersuits actually lets you do almost all of this (albeit with worse weapon characterisitcs). For material tools with wear all you're doing is trading efficiency for bag space. The Paxel uses 3x the material of a...

    Thaumcraft 3 portable hole/arcane bore

I couldn't research the portable hole until I had finished the Theory of Everything. The same was true of the hoe of growth. I'm not sure how Thaumcraft tiers and biases these things, but the ToE pretty much consumed my research table once it was available. I couldn't even study golems!

    Question about GT lightning rod

I think asking programmers to know not to modulo a power of two is not an unfairly high standard. :\ Don't do that. Also it's pretty well known even to someone who has never written a mod that you should not iterate to the sky in your tick updates.

    Question concerning Router possibilities

They fail at sorting systems UNLESS you use barrels. And then they make horrifically space-inefficient sorting systems. Barrels are great for things like cobble and saplings and wood. Not so great for every type of ingot in a mixed mod game. Not really. TE machines are efficient and have cool...

How many electrical engines can you daisychain?

If you have the resources to build energy cells, you have the resources to build tesseracts. You need 4 ender pearls per tesseract, which is 16 iron bars with EE. I set up a fluid tesseract system last night. Everyone jokes about how lame EE3 is, but man do I burn through iron fast. I went...

    Question concerning Router possibilities

Routers are much better for factory automation than for sorting systems. They rely on valid targets for item placement. Just connect an ejector to your RP2 sorting network and hope that one day FTB will stop relying on RP2 for this level of automation functionality. Routers excel at feeding...

    Question about GT lightning rod

You're right, it's a typo. Although I think that you can't actually build there so it's a bit less than that. But be really careful doing that. You will get tick spikes on your world if you do that. It literally iterates to the sky with no caching for each lightning rod if it's that long...

    Blulectric Engine

She's been MIA for a few months now, or so the forums suggest.
