How many electrical engines can you daisychain?

Don't forget the newfangled emerald conductive pipes! Wooden conductive is so Jurassic.
Well there are emerald transport and waterproof transport but no conductive pipes :/ You trollin man :p
EDIT: And lol my new quarry with 100 mj/t drills 9x9 to bedrock in like 3 minutes X)

This might sound silly, but I fill my reds tone energy cell to full, then whack it with the omni wrench (no energy loss) and then set it down directly next to the quarry until it runs out. The quarry runs at 100 MJ speed the whole time. Then I go recharge it.

Whoa hadn't realized how much energy those things held. Thx for the tip-hopefully now I won't have to move my nuclear reactor (with all its components that don't stack ) everywhere. Question is: how many charges will it take to excavate 64 x 64 :/

There's no need to lug around energy cells anymore once you've got enough enderpearls to spend on a pair of energy tesseracts

Right, I can't wait to build a tesseract. Here is a video I just posted that has in it the quarry running off the cell:

From personal experience, anymore than 4 electrical engines in a single chain, will cause the 1st engine to almost always be in cooldown, so not worth doing more than 4 at a time that way, but they don't force themselves into cooldown if you use conductive pipes. Everyone's already talked about energy output and speed, but I thought I'd add that bit to the discussion

If you have the resources to build energy cells, you have the resources to build tesseracts. You need 4 ender pearls per tesseract, which is 16 iron bars with EE. I set up a fluid tesseract system last night.

Everyone jokes about how lame EE3 is, but man do I burn through iron fast. I went through 4 stacks of iron between making diamonds, a bit of gold and the requisite ender pearls, and the tank body I wanted.
