It does not. It's simply a replacement till binnies mods are back but it may even stay as it offers other things binnie does not.

Well until recently there wasn't a working BinnieMods version and this one is just a beta which frankly is probably still a bit too buggy for a modpack release

Do you know what has changed under the hood? I really do not at this moment in time. For all we know there could be another 200k+ lines of code changed when 1.8 is released with almost no new content. It still would be a major version update due to massive amount of code changed!

In fact there is a machine upgrade (not very expensive actually) called the Ejector Upgrade which many seem to forget when they say TE can be configured to eject into other machines and IC2 can not. Now ofc you can argue that it requires yet even more resources but tbh i'D prefer an upgrade...
