What's new in modded minecraft today?

Nice new features :) But boy is it hard to watch this too many edits. I can'T watch it longer than a couple of minutes :(

    Would you build this?

    1.6.4

    Would you build this?

Oh it's been some time since i had my exams in electrical engineering i don't miss it really.... RP2 Blutricity is as far as we can reasonably go within MC to actualize real life electricity. And even the "simple" Blutricity was more than some people could comprehend AND used in HUGE networks...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Unfortunately it's part of EnderIO :( I'd use it if i could have a independet version as i already removed EnderIO(and other bigger mods) from my personal pack.

Stopping Endermen from picking up blocks.

You ...you... i like that idea

Stopping Endermen from picking up blocks.

Have a look here (although i wouldn't use it as the mod edits base classes). Will see if i can find a Forge one :)

MineTweaker - What recipe changes are you making?

Possible for some mods depending on their API/use of Java Reflection.

    Disabling Cave Generation

You can use the mod Cave Control from Reika :)

    Geostrata baffling me.

    Probably GregTech unifier if installed.

    Some worldgen problems in Monster

This is caused by the Flat Bedrock function of CoFH Core. You can disable it in the CoFHWorld.cfg (its inside the cofh folder) by setting # This will flatten the bedrock layer. B:FlatBedrock=true to false ;)

    Would you build this?

Another idea would be a defense mechanism to deal with meteors from MeteorCraft other than a shield. Maybe preventing spawns in an area instead of letting them crash into your shield. Gamma Ray lasers or something like that.

    Reactorcraft help

If you ever get into making CC integration it would be nice to have OC (OpenComputers) integration as well :)

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Immibis' Dimensional Anchor already has an option which makes them use fuel as a requirement. AFAIK only CB ChickenChunks doesn't have that yet.

What's new in modded minecraft today?

My pleasure :P The main use of the Sentinel is for shorter railways saving on materials for several anchor carts

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Yes but only on their own do they load 3x3. If you link them with a Sentinel they no longer do. It changes to a max 9x1 ;)

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Note though that when you use Anchor Sentinels the chunk loader loads all chunks in direct line to the anchor. not 3x3 anymore: Default Anchor (A: Anchor, X:Loaded chunks, U: Unloaded chunks) UUUUU UXXXU UXAXU UXXXU UUUUU With Sentinel (A: Anchor, X:Loaded chunks, U: Unloaded chunks, S...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

People tend to forget the Personal anchor from Railcraft and there is an addon for IC2 as well which draws power: Network Anchor Oh and the Dimensional Anchor from @immibis which got a fuel consumption option as well. I have to agree that it is one of the few chunk loaders not inspired by magic...

    Reactorcraft help

There are 2 or 3 tutorial videos in Reika's s thread over at the MCF. Other than that there's not much documentation yet as Reika wants to finish the mod first before creating the ingame book thus saving time due to only having to write it once.

    Getting started with rotarycraft

Honestly i'd rather use 4 steam engines than 32 dc engines. Both are basicly maintenance free engines once set up.

    Monster/Horizons Hotfixes

To add to this: There is a even more magical tool available for Linux/Windows called rdiff-backup. I makes incremental backups and thus saves disk space as only changed things are backed up on each run instead of the whole folder/world.
