Fully self-sufficient fusion reactor - when all the plasma gens ran, it managed about 50k eu/t. Needless to say, the only times I ever ran them all was after chunkloading errors when my reactor wasn't loaded. (I actually managed this on a server without cheats)

If you toss a lot of quartz on a TiC arrow, it can do plenty of damage as a projectile. Alternatively, MPS has some nice (but expensive) projectile weapons.

Basically - put one anchor at the very front of the quarry so it's the first block and another at the end. Then, if it's larger than 2 chunks long, add more anchors in the middle.

Try the same process and see if it works. If it doesn't, try using railcraft world anchors, those tend to be more reliable than chunk loaders, but require Ender pearls.
