Thanks for all the replies. I probably misinterpreted what I read. In any case I will experiment with hoppers and/or pipes from Mekanism itself which seem to have the ability to be color coded. Just need to get a grasp on how this color coding works.

That depends on how your LAN and wifi is setup. Here at my home it works perfectly fine with Wifi and non-Wifi together.

I can answer 2 a bit. For magnetizing the tier 2 upgrade it doesn't matter if you go over the 720. They will still work. So you don't have to watch it constantly.

Yes, I also did it like this. I was actually hoping that the quarry would also get the energy directly from the tesseract. That way you wouldn't even need the energy conduits but unfortunatelly that's not the case.

Yes that's true. But you can only put ender io cables inside facades and not Thaumcraft essence pipes (which I'm assuming is what the OP wants).

I would recommend to try out opis mod to see what is causing the performance drop. However, keep in mind that Opis includes MapWriter mod which (in my case) caused another performance related problem. So I would remove opis after benchmarking.

How can I see? I see nothing special related to this in the cofh files. Also I am getting Vanilla ore generation in Twilight Forest. I haven't tried a mystcraft world yet though. Need to do that.

I'm actually using my own custom set of mods. And in any case, I'm letting the quarry mine from top to bedrock and I have plenty of vanilla ores in the overworld.
