Mac FTB support for Java 7

Recently, the new 1.6.1 Minecraft launcher was released. It turned out that this launcher needs Java 7 to work, so I spent about an hour and a half getting Java 7 to install on my Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. I then tried to open my Feed the Beast launcher. And who would've thought, the FTB...

My quarry is OP, where do I shove all my stone?

Shove them into Recyclers and autocraft the scrap into scrapboxes, firing out of a clock-wired dispenser. Who knows, you might actually get lucky.

Ultimate Solar Panel: 8 Hybrids vs upgrading 1 Hybrid?

    Whoops. Fixed in the OP.

Ultimate Solar Panel: 8 Hybrids vs upgrading 1 Hybrid?

I found that you can make Ultimate Solar Panels by either using 8 Hybrid Solars or upgrading 1 Hybrid Advanced with more resources. Which one is cheaper?

    Above ground or below?

I typically go caving on the first night, set up base in there, and gradually transform the entire cave system into a polished base.

You can make a Tier 5 Wither Skeleton soul shard and easily get coal.

How do I change the default backpack config?

I'll dig through the configs one more time, looks like I might have missed that somewhere.

How do I change the default backpack config?

I checked the backpacks.conf file, and it seems like you can only ADD more items to it, not remove any of the default ones. How do I remove default items from the backpack configs? (For example, I want to remove all pulverized ores from the Miner's backpack config)

So, instead of Feed the Beast, Greg's turning this game into IndustrialFirmaCraft now?

About GregTech Machines Blowing Up In The Rain

Creating an item instantly in a 3x3 square is way too OP; you'll now need a stack of Ionized UU-Iridium and a thermonuclear fusion reactor to make your wooden pickaxe. Typical GregTech. I don't mind the plate bending machine (only takes a couple of seconds), but I definitely don't like the...

Request Suggest mods for creation here

I haven't heard any negative response for installing Optifine :/ It reduces lag and gives access to detailed performance customization, as well as CTM support and compatibility with almost every mod. What's so bad about it?

Some way to remove cables easier, like a Wire Cutter or something. The cables break so slow no matter which tool I use.

    I need iridium

I thought GregTech changed the Advanced Solar Panel recipe to need the Irradiant Reinforced Plate? (Although it's disabled by default)

    Do Microblocks cause lag?

I'm now pretty sure that it's the Microblocks causing the lag; it only spikes when I'm facing them. Dammit, now I have to take it all down >.<

    Do Microblocks cause lag?

It seems like they do, but I'm not sure. I recently smoothed out every wall and corner of a cave with Microblocks, and I'm suddenly noticing lots of lag spikes. I have a crappy computer, and I don't want to create any unnecessary lag for myself if I can help it.

    How to increase EU/t?

I did an EU reading on the gold cable adjacent to the MFE's output, and it still said 122 EU/t. I'll still try the glass fiber cables though.
