I'm into bees, and it's pretty AFK-intensive. Are there any fun short projects I could do while waiting for my bees to do their bee stuff? I'm using the Mindcrack pack. I've already completed Thaumcraft research, and Iridium/UU is way out of reach for me to do anything useful with them.

This is the main problem I have with IC2 and GT; it discourages experimentation and trial&error, and depending on the Wiki to get all your info is almost a requirement. I think this is why Thaumcraft is my most favorite mod in FTB. It almost requires no wiki whatsoever, and the player gradually...

Lol I was kidding, don't try that yourself. Instant death will be waiting for you at the "Moon". (I thought the ":3" was obvious, but I guess not) The blocks being sucked into the vortex is pretty cool though.

Just place a portal at your feet and place the other at the moon. You will be instantly teleported to the Moon dimension. Make sure to take as much precious resources and valuable machines with you if you expect to survive the trip back. :3

I'm thinking of setting up my first Quarry, but at the same time I don't want to bankrupt myself of all my power while doing it. What power source should I use for the Quarry? (No solar panels, way too expensive for me) I'm using the Mindcrack pack.

I will try all of those, thanks! It's not like I'm thousand chunks away and using a Chunk Loader; I'm just about fifty blocks away from the turtle, tending to my apiaries. Chunk loading issues shouldn't be a problem, I think.
