Try to make an exception for your FTB folder on your AV. Don't think that's the problem but just in case try to do it, I used to have problems becuase of my AV.

TE3 is better for starting out, but as you get farther into the game you will probably want to use IC2 machines for advanced ore processing and overclocking, BC for quarrying and AE for storage/auto crafting.

I think there's two types of canning, you could have tried with the other one.

Try Advanced Solar Panels, Gravitation Suite, and Advanced Machines, they all work really nicely with IC2 and GT.

Oh, I know what you mean my the mining drill :) , however, the mining drill in vanilla ic2 isn't that hard to make, it's just tedious. Also (sorry for asking so many questions), is there a config for the cells being made the way they used to?

Does GregTech/TPPITweaks have config for lapatron crystals taking lapis? Also, I tried TPPITweaks in my custom pack with the newest verison of GT and it works perfectly.

In NEI, it doesn't show that logs work in squeezers, only in magma crucible.

I'm using a custom pack (much like Monster or Tech World) with EBXL and DartCraft. On NEI it says some wood logs are able to make 100 mB of force in the magma crucible. One of them is the Rainbow Eucalyptus Log from EBXL. However, when I put it in the magma crucible, nothing happens. I checked...

EBXL imo is better than BoP. The colors in EBXL look more vibrant, brighter. Plus in BoP, not only there's biomes with a ridiculous amount of tall grass, but it also has a bunch of other flowers/grasses that I don't like.

Set the IDs that have been taken to 1556 and 1557.

You can easily automate it.
