Well, I couldn't resist... I'm a weak weak man.

Download available on CurseForge.

Out of everything, somehow this is the only thing that manages to excite me. YEah redpower 3 is gonna be cool. I'll be interesting if she changes things up or if it's just a port with a new name. The thing that really turns me off about it is that I know it won't be updated. Hopefully this will be.

Big Reactors Released 1.7.10 version

http://big-reactors.com/x4.html

Its supper buggy atm and could corrupt worlds use at own risk
V 0.4 atm

EDIT-

also on the main webpage it says :

This is a pre-alpha release.

While there have not been any major gameplay changes, the technology behind Big Reactors has shifted. In some places, it has shifted a lot, so expect bizarre things to happen at any time, with little explanation.

There will be bugs. There will be crashes. Always, always back up your worldbefore installing any experimental build.

Backwards compatibility with 1.6.4 worlds is not supported.

Well then, I don't believe I've seen this anywhere, but since it's updated, I figured I might as well say something:

The Aether II
http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum...89717-alpha-aether-ii-genesis-of-the-void-new

Updated to 1.6.4 (Yeah, I know, late comers, but I'll give them a break)

Changelog:
+ upgraded to Minecraft 1.6.4
+ added seven new companions
+ added Flying Cows
+ added Flaming Sword
+ added Skyroot doors
+ added White Roses
+ added devine variants of Sentry and Carved Stone
+ revamped dungeon system
+ added two new Moa donator skins
+ new textures for the Zanite Block, Icestone, and Quicksoil Glass
+ implemented bonemealing for Orange Trees and Berry Bushes
• accessories and donator perks moved to inventory tabs
• parties and notifications moved to chat tabs
• added tooltips for Aether items with special abilities
+ buffed spawnrate of passive mobs
- removed capes
- nerfed Zephyrs
• lots of bug fixes (like a lot...)

I don't understand why the Aether II insists on being incompatible with everything else. The mod loader days are over now and big modpacks are all the range. Why exclude yourself?

I'm pretty sure that Brandon Potts was quite insistent that this should work with most mods now in some of his more recent posts on the forum. I'll have to go back and make sure. But for now, I'm pretty damned tired.

Aaaaand ninja'd. :D

That wasn't nearly my point. Try adding it into a modpack, it'll break several things in other mods. It's just not designed to be used with other mods which is just sad.
Most recent quote I found, because I'm too o_O to go to bed just yet:

BrandonPotts:
The Aether II is in alpha, and we haven't worked towards compatibility with other mods too much.

This hopefully implies that they'll be working on it as they work on their big Mutation Update. I can understand wanting to keep the challenge of being a standalone mod, but as said, this is a world of modpacks, and I'm pretty sure this team will at least work on compatibility.

TBH It's already too late. They start with the small things and then after a while they realise the things they've added don't gel too well with modpacks. This means they couldn't really add compatibility unless they removed some features. This is why mods should be programmed with compatibility in mind.

You (yes you!) get to choose the next mod that @CyanideX will retexture! Just vote here. Get your voice heard. Be an individual. Vote for mekanism and railcraft or I swear I'll cut you.
I voted for the entirety of the top 6. I hope that's alright.

TBH The mod that needs texturing the most is one of the ones I didn't vote for, GregTech. Has anyone actually looked at that mods textures? His April's Fools ones were better.

I like the bronze tier machine textures but besides that most are no good. The guis are especially terrible.
