What's new in modded minecraft today?

Hmm? No, you can try it out, I haven't yet since MultiMC can't handle 1.7.10 yet. I read it from the IC2 forums, here.
What's the issue with MultiMC and 1.7.10? I have a tiny test pack set up in it, but I've only launched it and messed around a bit.
You do know that Mojang has a launcher with profile support and forge has a GUI installer for forge versions?
I have the Multimc development version, no issues with 1.7.10 and some cool new features
I'm too lazy, and if I use it I have to clean up all the junky profiles I made :/

I honestly think someone totally should do a blog for updates. Many people like doing blogs and clearly from what we have seen with the success of this thread and my news videos, I believe if done well a daily or weekly update blog would be hugely successful and I'd visit it for sure. Would love to see FTB add a blogging feature to these forums (though thats probably a topic for another thread). Heck I'd even be willing to pay for the add-on for them.I was kidding about the blog.

if I heard correctly I think I heard Jaded talking about it once that curseforge has an option when you follow a mod, to inform you when a mod updates
if things finally start rolling with CurseForge and alot of mods start hosting their mods there, you'd be able to get notified on any mod whenever it updates
that'd mean we'd be out of jobs, but I wouldn't mind getting mod updates that easily
