Betas only. It looks like 2.7 will be for 1.6 so don't hold your breath on a stable release anytime soon.

Yes, fire is an option. So is lava and poop.

Alright. A couple of people pointed me to the dev-build page for it in the question thread. I'm not worried about stability (much.)

Not quite sure myself. All I can say is a single reactor can produce 1mb/t of biofuel. Hmm, just ran the simulator and it seems one bucket would last 101 seconds at full temp, and at 20mb/s you can produce 2020mb of fuel during that time period with a single reactor so a single reactor should be able to fuel two max temp 36HP boilers going by those numbers.


Hi, to what simulator are you referring to? I'm trying to find out how many buckets per hour a 9 resource bioreactor pushes out :)

TE is my favorite ore processor, MPS is my favorite armor mod, and MFR is just plain out good and dashing.

The textures too..

Maybe actual needles.

I need to find out how this thing is loaded. And if I can make a turret out of it. Mmmmyesss...

There's a boiler simulator that you can find online. Bioreactors output the same amount of fuel per tick no matter the resources - efficiency only decreases how quickly the reactor burns through the resources. Doing a few tests it seemed like the reactor produced 1mb/t of biofuel which comes out to a bucket every 50 seconds (going at the full 20t/s). For the simulator, since biofuel and ethanol have the same burn rates I used ethanol for the simulation.

Ah ok thanks for explaining, I wrongly thought the output was linked to the efficiency. I make that 72 buckets/hr so yeah bang on 2 36hps, nice!

Haven't read the entire thread, so only replying to the OP and nothing that has gone after it, but I really really like MFR. Especially the conveyor belts and the fisher. I was lamenting the loss of RP tubes when I made the move to 1.5, but after discovering these beauties, I have been able to replicate, and surpass any function that I ever used tubes for. And they look cool as hell too! The fisher is more of a convenience block. Fishing has always been the most boring minigame in Minecraft, and a way to automate it isn't a bad thing imo. I have yet to try out the mining laser, but it seems completely innovative.. I've not seen another item that functions the same way as it and I am pretty excited to getting around to playing with it :D The farm seems a little cheap when you compare it to the likes of Forestry and Steves Carts, but it's not overly OP and the other farms still have their place (If you want to spend more resources than energy for example)
The PRC is verrrrrrrrrrry powerful, like hugely powerful. But at the same time it's very limiting. For simple things that you just want a simple timer, it's price is a little excessive, but for more complex things it's a godsend.

As for the modder himself; Powercrystals... he's very active, both in pumping out bugfixes/updates and also with talking to the community, which is refreshing to see. Other modders such as KingLemming and SirSengir are also, but it's always refreshing to see.

He was a hardworking, responsive Mod Author, and his largest number of updates in a day reaches to a hundred.

Yes, well, there other good modders who update fast. Some of them have a name that doesn't imply racism/bigotry.

Power crystals for example, that's a good cookie.

People need to learn how awesome the old features of the mod have become. Conveyors, Item Collectors and Item Routers are genuinely useful. Because they only push items along but possess input inventories, and they have very inexpensive and predictable insertion behavior, they've become indispensable to me as the "final leg" of a factory pipeline. A conveyor-collector-trashcan is a wonderful way to prevent overflow.

I just wish Item Routers did the buildcraft style proportional switching. They sure didn't last time I checked.

PC, since you`ve implemented sewage, maybe you could implement an anaerobic digester, that would use sewage in combination leaves, flowers and pesky vines to produce biogas?

Yea, isn't this the second time the mod has been reloaded? I still remember when there was a version on the BC website. In fact, I think the 1.3.x version is still up for some reason. I remember early release, possibly even Beta era, I wasn't too impressed with the mod. But I love what you've done since then.
