Maybe the zip file you got was cached, I would try clearing cache and temporary data for your used browser and downloading the server files again.

this, the fellow who does optifine literally posted the c1 version up on the forums as i was hunting the references here to it. o_O ofc now the ftb launcher is derping it up with connection timeouts instead. oi.

- twilight forest also wanted to use dimension 7 as the dimension id for the forest

Solution:
Since my number 7 mystcraft age had instability (and so I have long thrown away any linking/descriptive book to it) I deleted the following files/folders in my save folder:
- DIM_MYST7 (folder)
- data/agedata_7.dat (file)

After that my world loaded as it should. (But I still have to check if everything else is alright, nothing is missing or messed up :D At least the world loads.)

DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are forced to click "Yes" and when you do you screen will freeze at the "Loading World" screen. I used my last 10 backup files and they all do the same thing. Only way I found around it, start a new world! Yes, that's right, updating will cause you to START ALL OVER!! If only I could go back in time about 3 hours..... ugh.... {redacted cursing}

So many support posts in a news thread! :) (not that it is different that usual, hehe)

Suggestion for future news post: had a note/disclaimer to post tech problems on the support site/forum? Unless you prefer having ppl post their main update problems here, in which this is also fine, but it does make up for a messy thread, hehe. Also, not that ppl would actually read said note/disclaimer.

Got not problem in my personal update so far, keep it up. :D Was looking forward to the new Forestry and Thaumcraft toys. Too bad Xycraft isnt ready yet.

You are forced to click "Yes" and when you do you screen will freeze at the "Loading World" screen. I used my last 10 backup files and they all do the same thing. Only way I found around it, start a new world! Yes, that's right, updating will cause you to START ALL OVER!! If only I could go back in time about 3 hours..... ugh....

now excuse my ignorance, if i am indeed ignorant, but shouldn't you guys KNOW which ID's are in conflict and thus know which exact blocks might be replaced?
"we didn't find any missing blocks" sounds a little bit clueless to me.

How do I get the updated pack for my client? It just takes me to the server download page.

Is there a new server AND a new .exe? Do we download both if we run a server?

this update ooohhh boy! I guess we need to restart servers as the updates are conflicting with crossing over information.
