Gregtech deliberately crashing client if TC installed..

I have to say that this whole situation really bums me out. TiC is by far my favorite mod, especially with the drawbridges now. At the same time, I had shied away from GT because of all the things I had heard, but I decided to take a chance a couple weeks back.

It has been pretty cool. Some parts of GT are just frustrating, but over all it has been interesting and sometimes rewarding experience. Among the things I've grown to like about it is that recipes eventually become cheaper as you expand your power base and upgrade your machines. Honestly, the assembling machine is my favorite mechanic.

But, as I said before, I'm dropping GT. I won't play anymore worlds with it or any modpacks that use it. I'm including pre-crash versions, too. Nothing that Greg ever does will make me play his mod again. There are a few unforgivable things in programming, and this is one.

First off, no. Just... no. Not an appropriate response to ANYTHING.

Second off, crashing players is YOUR fault, not his. YOU made the code-bomb (I'm not quite prepared to call it malicious at this point), YOU implemented it, YOU refused to remove it after the supposed situation has been resolved.

Bridge? Burned.

If greg can make the game crash, can he also compile code to install viruses in the background? Just wondering.

I personally dont feel go0d about a guy who shows no remorse for what he has done. You know what they say about people with no remorse....

I've read somewhere that he makes some recipes completely random if you have both his mods and GT installed (as in needing random items in random slots), but the original ones still work as well. Don't know if that's true, though.

So yesterday I'd been wondering why mDiyo forcibly unnerfed the wood, but then I read a post saying " it *might* be something to do with the fact that using wood to make TC tools relies on the relative quantities of sticks and planks..." so now it's fairly clear to me: TiCo doesn't actually work so well with the woodnerf, so you don't really want to be playing with it enabled, and the mythical suggestion of people wanting to use TiCo, GT, and the woodnerf enabled probably doesn't really exist. Maybe.
Perhaps I'll sacrificially destroy my stockpile of iridium reinforced tungsteel blocks and make our space station out of manylyuum (i'm sure that's spelled wrong) blocks instead :p
