Gregtech deliberately crashing client if TC installed..

all I know is that Greg threw a tantrum over someone giving him a taste of his own medicine and inserted malicious code into his mod because of it.

I thought the reason why he added was meaningless and only the fact that malicious code did exist at some point was good enough reason. Now you tell me that it isn't so?

Simple really, you get timeouts/bans/warnings from forums/servers for doing things you shouldn't, so just give Greg a timeout on the next version of FTB, stating that it will be included in the version after that if "attitude" improves.

AFAIK in the future FTB Ultimate will have 2 separate packs, one with GT and one without. Which I think is the perfect solution.

Better yet, let mod makers decide if they want to be in the same pack with GT

I'm sure you are saying the same thing about forestry as well.

with the small exception... forestry didnt crash the game... it only introduced unwelcome bee-haviour if you used it in the modpack that didnt have permission to include forestry.

Also using a modpack wasn't the trigger, only directory name of MC install.

No one stops you from learning up on what happened in the past. It would greatly improve your ability to see things in much bigger picture.

Hence the reason I suggested providing context for your argument, it's your responsibility in a debate to cite sources for your argument, not your opponent's.

Summary:
I also think what mDiyo did was wrong, and it obviously was a retaliation. Immature.
I think what Greg did was really wrong and it obviously was a retaliation. Immature.
mDiyo seems to be the one more mature by approaching Greg and saying "Hey, can we get along?".

Wood override was malicious? Nah.
Crashing was malicious? Nah, it was done during load and couldn't harm anyone.
Now lets get back to a pointless thread where the people that already hated GT will continue hating it, and the ones that like it continues liking it. Also lets insult each other every now and then!
