When we where alive we stayed alive from the live energy that flowed between the trees.

Oh, it's an old idea of feeding. I just siphon off the life energy that is found in blood.

And what's a derailment?
 
that means you kill the other creature, right?

that sounds a bit better, I still don't like the fact that you need to inflict pain to others but its better then killing them I suppose, still better to keep this a secret.
 
simple, kill them. Just like they did with us but we don't need to take the whole world with it.

and the fact that they build walls makes it even easier as they can't go though it but we now can together with all our friends and our weapons.
 
you are a living creature, you can potentially help with the reconstruction of the world to make it livable once more, if nothing else you can at least guide us with doing it as we don't really know anymore what was important for life and what we should to avoid.
 
another living creature of the same species is what you seek, enough energy to create life is what you get.
 
enough energy to create a start with plants.
They will give more energy to the flows of life energy (I will from now on refer tot hem as the flows) this can then be used to support more life and that will with enough time restore the world.
